Title: Re: Live in Paris… CHAUD !…
Just got back from this show in Paris’ “Le Divan du monde”…
It seems the guys enjoyed their concert. There wasn’t much people, but it was HOT! (you saw me : half-naked with my backpack in the middle of the pit).
I will remember this : I ended up with Andy’s microphone during the last song (played in the crowd (in the exception of the drummer))… And we sang the end of Screamager together… I’m still shaking at the memory of this…
Like all of you guys, I’ve been loving T? for so long. It means so much to have Andy’s sweat and spit on my glasses. :)
PLEASE :
If anyone took pictures during that last song in Paris 19/05/2003, @ Le Divan du Monde , email me there :
damiche@parisfree.com
Thanks.

yeah ,Therapy? did rock tonite, but it was really a shame that there were such a few people (was it because of blur playing the same night? eh eh however they wouldn’t have appreciate andy making fun of their fav’ band when introducing die laughing)
but at least they were only real therapy? freak tonite, the kind that can scream the lyrics as well as you english speaking guys ( and that’s quite rare to hear french people sing like that in english ) and jump ‘til death. The band was really relaxed, seemed very pleased to be back in France. Andy made a lot of jokes , comparing himself to johny halliday because of his look on the infernal love LP (johny halliday is a big french jerk, a rockstar for the 50 year old french jerk pretending to love rock)
They did a lot of songs from the new album, a great version of diane with just andy singing and martin on the electric cello and of course the great final with the band playing in the moshpit.
set list
1. hey satan you rock
2. who knows
3. stories
4. Bad mother
5. church of noise
6. Not In Any Name (announced by andy as “fuck america”)
7. Limbo
8. If it kills me
9. die laughing
10. My Voodoo Doll
11. Ten year plan
12. Nowhere
13. Nobody Here But Us
14. trigger inside
15. Potato Junkie (with i wanna be your dog interlude)
16. Diane
17. Rust
18. Knives
19. Screamager
well, not a song from shameless (i will not complain ‘bout this cuz it ‘s the T? album i like the less even if it has as usual a great guitar sound)
btw this setlist was made by listening to my boot of this show, should be available by the end of the week packed with the 3 tracks played for the hard rock award in paris.
i have no T? boot so i will be pleased if you wanna trade with me bu i intend to do a few B&P (one or 2 for the U.K. as internationnal mail can be expensive but i’ll choose only people willing to redistribute the show, for french guys as it costs almost nothing i will reply to more people)
i’m also in touch with a guy who took lots of pics and recorded another version of the show :)
i’ll post again when it will be ready

well that setlist is a better one than the one for the first night of the tour.
still doesn’t make much sense to me why they’d have 3 songs from Infernal Love and none from shameless…do they hate that album now or something?

What do you look like…
Are you one who threw me on the “huge pogoing guy”?
(who almost broke my neck…)
Anyway, i’m delighted to hear other people’s feeling about this gig, which was so intense for me!
That museum thing was kind of fun…

It was a really huge Rugby-like guy. Don’t thank him : He killed several T? fans! :) but was very nice.. I talked with him breafly.
I was right in the middle of the place, bare-chested, with a backpack, creating pogos :)
I confirm what you heard from your idol :)
Were the cute girl dancing on my left during all the show?
damiche… not even hoping.

It was already a miracle we arrived there safely AND found a parking place in Paris!
We also met Mr Cooper (and the rest of the band too of course) and he will be our new idol from now on :D (whether he wants it or not hehe ) Really nice and friendly guy to talk to and most important of all: a fucking brilliant drummer!!
Funny to hear that the audience wanted Michael to get more hair :D
Should we collect money to buy him a nice wig :D ??
@Panzer: yes, you heard it correctly: they will come back in September somewhere…

I was in the middle of the stage. between Martin and Andy. I saw you singing with Andy and I was just behind, tryin to shout as loud as I can to help you. :D
About the huge pogging guy… well he almost broke my glasses! And i talked a few time with him (and with you) to calm him down.
But I think he was cool.Just excited as us all.
I just missed “Ten Year Plan” to fix my glasses and see clearly the rest of the concert.
see u all next time…

i was just behing you guys at the first row behind the slammers tryin not to get into the “violent” area cuz it’s no good when you’e doing a boot.
I saw you, the_screamager and i really thought u and the rugbyman were going to fight, eventually both of you kept calm , good to see that metal freaks aren’t as dumb as one may think :)
i go to lots of shows of famousor anonymous bands and i’d like to highlight the fact that the audience of this show was really fantastic even if there were not so many people , it was only real fans, nothing to do with a mainstream show with that bunch of annoying people talking and screaming all the time. We shared a great time this night with therapy?
some of you were at the club dunois 2 years ago ? few people as well but the same kind of great show and going to the bathroom before the show you could chat with andy, helping selling t shirts :)
