i can remember darkstar playing either ‘top of the pops’ or TFI friday with barbed wire wrapped around the microphone. i remember i really liked the song.

can anyone remember what their main single was, or what the song may have been that i’m thinking of.

S*M*A*S*H did a song called ‘(I want to) Kill Somebody’, which I think was their biggest hit. They were very punky and could have been massive if they’d come along 3 years
later and worn big shorts.

‘Lady Love Your Cunt’ was another one of theirs, although not, I suspect, one for TOTP.

Oh yes I found my pictures taken @ Reading 2000, Muse were there too and my mates queued to get some stuff signed but Muse seemed more concerned with watching Limp Bizkit rather than talk to their fans. Hmmm, very nice guys indeed:p

i had stopped buying kerrang a few years ago, i just didn’t find it that interesting anymore. however i decided to get a few copies during the last two months hoping to see therapy? on the cover or at least some big article, a band that’s been around for a while like them should deserve that but it’s marilyn manson and good charlotte everywhere and i think this week’s gonna be my last issue of kerrang cos i’m just fed up. as you said, a waste of money

here we go again with the kerrang bashing…

its hardly fair to blame therapy?s slide into (relative) obscurity on this - admittedly pretty shit - magazine. they probably gave therapy? more coverage than any other mainstream rock mag in the 90s, mainly because t? were huge then. they are not huge now and they are not the “next big thing”, hence less kerrang coverage.

everyone here slags it off but i bet everyone here either buys it or annoys employees by reading it in the shop (like me!)

Only ever bought it once - for the London gig review. Otherwise, a good way to while away the hours in WH Smiths, whilst waiting for g/fs to return from shoe shops.
