Hidden Track Lyrics

#

Started by McBain

Hi,

Does Anyone have the lyrics to that hidden track on HA or a link to some page on which they’re posted?
I tried to figure them out myself, but as a non-native speaker of the English language I didn’t quite manage :(

They are posted in another post somewhere on this board, if you go to the search page for Wall Of Mouths, type in “Never Ending” (at a guess) and I’m sure one of the threads has it in.

Alternatively, you can go to http://www.suicidepact.com > Songs > Albums > High Anxiety > Never Ending

and this site might even have the lyrics in the Discography section, but I’m not sure.

It’s not mentioned in the discography of this site cause it’s a secret! :D

I’ ve never really understood it with hidden tracks anyway, I mean…does it add anything extra to the song at all…then why not make a whole album with Hidden Tracks…:O

Thank you very much for the links Alex, I found the lyrics there.
I did actually find the line “Never ending chain of bitterness” when I searched for “Never Ending” here earlier but not in that hidden track but in born too soon on semi-detached. :)

Title: @Ronald

Or why simply not hide the track?
Eleven Songs looks a bit poor on the first look. But on the other Hand a 12th title called “never ending” would promise a bit much ;)

Well originally the album was one track shorter — Not In Any Name wasn’t on there.

The thing about the hidden track is that every listing, from Amazon to Spitfire itself had Never Ending (hidden track) listed, so it kinda defeat the object.

What’s the point of hidden tracks anyway? The song’s either good enough to be on the album, or it isn’t.

It’s not particularly well hidden anyway, seeing as how it appears on the sleeve AND plays if you’re too lazy to turn off after ‘Rust’

Ash hid 2 tracks on ‘1977’, which were murder to find.

Hidden tracks are plain annoying.
You have to fast forward a lot to fuckin’ hear it.

Anyone remember that great Kyuss hidden-song at the end of “…And the circus leaves town”…you have to skip like 20 fuckin’ minutes or so…and my old disc man isn’t very fast with that. :D

It’s maybe a nice surprise for the first time. But that’s about it.

Yeah, they put the 2 of them BEFORE the first track, so you had to rewind to find them. Then, if you rewound too much, the cd would stop, and you’d have to play track one and rewind all over again.

Still, I thought having a phone helpline for people who couldn’t find the hidden songs, was a bit much

:D

Well, the idea is handing an extra gift
to the fans.. a “hidden track” is typically
a b-side that wouldn’t be on the album, but
is good anyhow.

it’s a nice treat to find if you stumble
across them.. but they do kinda loose the
point when the “hidden” track is openly
listed everywhere, including the band’s
label site.. ;)

this might not have to much to do with this topic, but reading all this, it reminds me of something strange i’ve noticed a while ago. Does anyone have the first genius/GZA cd? all of a sudden, the counter starts to count backwards… never really got that…
