Tomorrow is Thursday, and at 6 in the evening we will stand at the gates of Schessel! I´m exited to see the T?-Boys play on Friday. So when you want to meet some frantic psychos from Dortmund, call 0172-7020160! It´s gonna be a great weekend!

We’re heading north Friday morning and to be right in front of the stage when T? are on.
I had hoped they might get more stage time after Zwan cancelled their set, but instead they found a replacement in Tocotronic.
T? also sign autographs in a session hosted by the VISIONS magazine. They can be met at 20:30 on Friday!
As the highlight of the festival is over before it’s really begun ;) what other bands are you looking forward to see.
On Friday I really love to see Beth Gibbons and Sigur Ros, of coure (and NOT f***ing Coldplay).
On Saturday, it’s Grandaddy, Interpol, and Supergrass and on Sunday Asian Dub Foundation, Turbonegro, and Underworld.
As Friday seems to be the day most likely to rain I might be the gray haired guy wearing a T? rain jacket.
See ya.

Title: T? at the Hurricane festival

I just got back from the Hurricane festival. T? played on Friday evening for 45 minutes and they were brilliant. I was so freaked out in front of the stage, I can’t remember the whole setlist, but due to the short stage time they had, they did a sort of greatest hits show and played only about three HA tracks. Anyone else who has been there might come up with a complete list.
Anyway, T? seemed to enjoy the show as much as the audience did (at least those in the mosh pit).
The whole festival was great. There were brilliant shows by Radiohead, Supergrass, Asian Dub Foundation, Sigur Ròs (my personal highlight of the weekend), Turbonegro, The Hellacopters, Kettcar, Interpol, Massive Attack to name but a few.
Coldplay fully deserved their hate thread here at WoM, and Starsailor were even more boring. The most positive surprise were Radiohead. I didn’t like them that much before, but they were awesome, especially the new songs.

yeah, she just recovered from an operation she had about 3 or 4 weeks ago. but she was very nice and relaxed and seemed to be alright again.

yep, t? performed a great set, unfortunatly i cannot remember the complete setlist, but it was the usual “festival-best of”.
the hellacopters played a nice gig as well, so did turbonegro and some other bands that i watched. but to be honest i was more busy with talking to people (and of course eating, hehe) and travelling to our hotel (by the way: björk has scrambled eggs for breakfast and speaks english with a dreadful accent) then with watching bands.
the weather was shit but turned better on sunday. saw a lot of people with sunburned shoulders, backs and necks. but at least the got rocked…
;)

Hi there!

the signing session was cancelled, because of that fucking weather, someone told me… :-(

Even the signing session of turbonegro was cancelled, too.
greetings, Luci

That must’ve been that Elton guy from TV Total. He also announced the band on stage.

You can’t be too sure from the distance, but to me he looked like Elton and he also sounded like Elton. He definitely was in Scheeßel to do a report of the Cellophane Suckers gig (I think it’s shown tonight.
I missed Metallica on TV Total, ‘coz as a Weichei I had to be in Cologne to see Heather Nova play. ;)

Hey, at least the fact that you were in Cologne is one thing which is in your defence! But so were Metallica, as this is where TV Total is filmed, so in effect, you preferred to see Heather Nova to Metallica! Weichei! :D

P.S. You know I’m kidding, allroy. Personally, I was at a Jimmy Somerville concert! ;)
