Is there anyone else who can’t get enough of their album?

Oh yes, it’s such a brilliant album. What’s even better, they manage to create this special atmosphere from their songs on stage as well.

Yeah, they rock and that’s by far the greatest compliment I can make to a British band. Especially the singer seems to go mental on stage (I’ve seen them about two months ago).

I didn’t even know they were British. A friend of mine forced me to listen to their album and I was hooked. Since she’s only into American bands I thought they were from US too

There might be some misunderstanding:
Interpol are American, The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster are British.

Thus the question was buzzing inside my bonce all yesterday, eventually I thought sod it..you can do 30 days in prison and clear the debt, but nobody gives you free cd’s. Well, some people do, but none that I know. Anyway, I’m going off the point..I thought sod it and bought the Eighties Matchbox B-line disaster album.

Absolutely insane..they’ve rapidly become one of my favourite bands..and that’s after 3 listens!

Rock n’ fuckin’ roll!

( still haven’t checked out interpol yet! )

Congratulations to discovering a great new band. :)
And as you’re in the mood for good new British bands, check out Serafin.
They only got some EPs out (album’s coming in August, I think), but they also rock like the 80s MBD.

Regarding Interpol you should download Roland,PDA,Obstacle 1 and Stella Was A Diver And She Was Always Down to see if you like them, they have a strong Joy Divison influence.

The 80s Matchbox… (who comes up with such bloody long names?) album is called Hörse Of The Dog.

I haven’t heard it yet (only got Celebrate Your Mother on a cd with the VISIONS magazine), but accordibng to their live show and the reviews I’ve read about it, it must be brilliant.
It’s the same with Serafin, only got No Happy on cd (again from the VISIONS magazine), but I#m looking forward to their album. I haven’t ever heard anything from Stony Sleep.
