I was at the festival site earlier this evening to check out the terrain and talk to the organisation.

We have a beautifull piece of grass with some trees and lots of room. So, if it’s sunny we will have enough shadow. We can use the terrain all day, so you can arrive any time. I will probably be there myself from around noon, getting everything ready. We can start the BBQ as soon as most/all of the people have arrived. The terrain is at some 50 metres from the festival site, behind “De Bunker”. You can not reach it by car, so you will have to park on the main festival parking.

The fan BBQ will also be advertised on the site of the Strandfuif (by the way, Strandfuif means Beachparty). I propose that everybody that wants to come registers as soon as he/she is certain they can be there. The latest date for registering will be July 25th. This gives me a week to get the BBQ meat and vegetables.

The festival itself opens its doors at 17:00 and closes at 3:00, to re-open the next day at 9:00.

At the moment, there’s 15 people on the list.

I’ve send a text to the organisation and they will put it on their website, so that Therapy? fans that aren’t regular visitors here are also aware that this BBQ is being organised. It was on the site of Rock Zottegem that I found out about the previous BBQ and at the BBQ itself I found out that the WOM existed. So I would like to do other people the same favour.

Just let you know the latest news. There are currently 28 people registered for the BBQ and I know of some 5 who are still giving it some thought.

There’s one week left to register and there are still tickets for the Strandfuif available.

Hi, can you check it you have to leave from Genk or Gent, ‘cause both places are in Belgium… Gent is bigger and probably had an airport, Genk is a much smaller city… please check so I can help you with the timetables…
Greetings Iris

Ps. Why don’t you come earlier that day… and make it to the BBQ???

Hello !

It is Genk … I am going to be there because my Greek team plays a friendly match on the night against the local team. Kick off is at 20:00 Belgian time …

I want to attend both occasions since I am going to be around … Sorry, but it looks like I am not going to make the BBQ :( But anyone that wants to meet up during the concert I will be glad to do so … If yes, drop me an email and I will send you my mobile number out …

Cheers …

WOM ???

Anyway, things are getting a bit complicated … What are you people doing after the concert? Are you spending the night there? Is there a B&B or hotel in Gladbeek? I need to find out because I want to arrange my airline tickets on the way back. How much would a taxi cost me from Genk to Gladbeek? Any ideas?

Thank you all for being so willing to help out…
