Berlusconi

This guy is either on drugs or fully insane, and that is the leader of the EC now…his remarks about Schroder were way out of line, even though he apologised I still think he should be voted away: he is a criminal anyway!

I wish he had a trigger inside…but yes, he has money and unfortunately money still means power, but I think he is just as dumb as Bush!

What an absolute star - since when has European politics been so interesting? Obviously what he said was completely offensive and out of order, and the fact that he doesn’t realise that shows what a loon he but it has been entertaining for anyone not Italian or German (should imagine most of Italy is deeply embarrassed).

He always struck me as a prick as well - a bit of a Rupert-Murdoch-meets-Prince-Phillip, but someone must have voted for him…

Let’s hope the EU doesn’t get involved in any peacekeeping missions over the next 6 months…

Well…I am Dutch but don’t think it’s funny at all, because these are the people that are supposed to put a little bit of order in the chaos and with remarks like these they are just wasting time…not that I am interested in politics or anything…

Berlusconi could be wrong about this topic, maybe he’s wrong…but some German/French people envy Berlusconi and Italians in general…because in our history (I’m Italian)we
spreaded culture when they were only barbars and wilds…
French in particular even stole our masterpieces from Leonardo Da Vinci (Gioconda still is in Louvre but it’s an Italian masterpiece)… by Leonardo…
Some Europeans hate Italy because they ENVY us…and take the chance for insulting our country in so many ways…
Don’t forget about Shroder started offending Berlusconi…and DON’T FORGET that IN France CHIRAC maybe it’s worse than Berlusconi…
stop offending Italians…we rule!!!

His quote is definitely entertaining (even for Germans). It’s always an easy trigger to pull saying something offensive concerning our Nazi past.
It definitely was stupid but not as embarassing as his political actions over in Italy where he definitely took the jurisdiction out of the judges’ hands.
It reminds me of George W.’s attitude toward possible war crimes of US soldiers.
But as I’m Allroy I’ll finish with a song from the mighty ALL:
Keep your politics out of my music

the german guy didn’t offend italians, he was talking about berlusconi, only asking some questions. i want the answers too.

you missed the last centuries.
in the last centuries german, french and british people spreaded much more culture than us italians.
and then, regardless of your political ideas, how can you like a politic who was into masonry, who lied so many times to his country, who abuse the power people gave him?

Stop…I only wanted to say that the truth is not only from a part…I don’t like Berlusconi or politicians in general, but you can’t throw the stone and keep your hand away…
sometimes it seems like someone hates Italy around Europe and Berlusconi these days is only an easy target to hit…

you misunderstood my idea…I wanted to say that some people should stop wasting their time in a war/fight against Italy…Politicians from Germany,England, whatever are shit like ITALIAN ONES…it’s weird of them they only fight one another for getting more power and more money…
they’re all clowns…
Only sometimes I think Berlusconi it’s only an easy target to hit for getting more power (for example for ruling Europe or similar)…so the Shroder accusations are so BAD like BERLUSCONI ONES…no differences…but Berlusconi got many critics and Shroder no ones…it was my point…

why is berlusconi an easy target to hit?
maybe because he corrupted judges?
maybe because of his billionaire evasion of taxes?
maybe because he uses the power he has to avoid processes?
can’t you really see any differences between him and the others?

The one thing we’ll always wonder is who was so clever to place him where he is now. I mean, those who gave their vote to him.
Sometimes I’m really sorry for my country. Coming back here as a tourist (and non-resident) for a little while has been a nice experience but somehow I could never think of moving back home. How sad

Let me understand…do you really think that other politicians around are so cool persons instead?? So is Chirac??
So is Bush? so is Saddam??

leave alone saddam and all the other dictators, a comparison doesn’t make sense.

i think ALL the european leaders are better than berlusconi.
chirac sucks in many ways, and so aznar, putin or others.
but it looks like they show the respect for democracy berlusconi doesn’t show.

a comparison with bush is difficult, because everything he does has a thousand times the effect of what berlusconi does.
bush is worst because he’s so stupid (but he has smarter men behind him, scary but smarter), but for many things berlusconi is worst: for instance after the enron bankrupt bush made harsher penalties for these kind of crimes that damage all society, while berlusconi did the opposite, do you wonder why?
