Okay… I’m now proudly the new owner of a (FREE :D) Playstation 2!!! The kind of games I like on Playstation 1 where Crash Bandicoot & Resident Evil.
What games should I buy/download for the PS2???
Thanks!!!
Iris

Ps. Does anybody know a good download site for this? Can’t find any game on Kazaa!

There’s a Crash Bandicoot game for the PS2, I think it’s called Wrath of Cortex, either way it’s really good - if a little easier than some of the previous games.

The GTA games are fun, but only if you like randomly maiming people and pretending to be a taxi driver (I am lame at actually completing missions).

:D

I went to the videostore last night and rented Crash 4 for a week for only E3,50!!! Pretty cool!!! Played 3 hours non-stop last night!!!

How I got it for free? Everytime you go to some shops you give a card and for every euro you spent you get 1 point! And sometimes you get bonuspoints with special offers, like for washing your car at Shell you get 500 points or developing pictures you get 50 extra… I’m also getting extra points for answering questions every month for an organisation called NIPO (at least 400 points a month).
You needed 20000 points to get a PS2, as I had 27000 :D I could get one! I’m thinking of also getting the Dolby Surround system for 7000 points… :D
2 years ago I went for free with KLM to Paris, but for example you can also go 750 points for free to the cinema and there are so many things more!!!
Great system, they use it now for I think 8 years and I’m collecting since day 1!!!

Any other Dutch collecting also airmiles?

GTA3 and Vice City are 2 of the greatest games ever made! On Vice City I have a strip club, night club, porn studio, taxi firm, mansion blah blah blah it’s brilliant!!

Your mate has superlative taste. If you like Resi Evil, there’s a fair chance you’ll like Silent Hill - although (IMHO) Silent Hill 2 is better than Silent Hill 3, plotwise (that said, Silent Hill 3 is supposed to have a brilliant ending and I’m not quite there yet).

Okay Silent Hill will als obe on my list!!! I loved Resident Evil, but I must secretly admit that I can only play that game with loads of cheats… like big guns and unending bullets :-) Is Silent Hill very difficult? Should I buy part 2 first???

For me, the first one is better, but the second one still kicks ass. You could buy either one first as, story-wise, the only thing they have in common is the location of Silent Hill. Part 3 still has’nt come out here in the State’s. Sometime last year, I read on a few movie web-sites that there was talk of a movie, but about a month later it was revealed that it was all some kind of hoax. But a few months back, I started seeing MORE talk of a movie. If it does happen, I hope they don’t make a half-assed version of the original game’s story, a-la RESIDENT EVIL, which I kinda liked at first, but I liked less the next two times I watched. Now, I just don’t bother. 28 DAYS LATER was pretty much everything that movie should have been.

I just found a back-up site that already has got part 3!
He does not have part 1, so I will go for part 2…

I haven’t played SH 1 (it’s only a PS gaeme, not PS2), but I’m told that storywise 3 is more of a sequel than 2 is - I’d definitely get 2 firs (especially as it’s on platinum so should be a lot cheaper). The game is quite hard (I got killed lots), but it does have a very easy setting.

It’s a Karate game. I use to have it on my Commodore 64 and it was probably one of the best games ever made for the 64.
