Evan Dando

I saw him at Reading a couple of years ago and thought he was great, saw him again at leeds this year and dragged a couple of friends and they agreed he was great. Went to my local cd shop and got Baby I’m Bored which is absolutely brilliant! Its a great album to chill out to!

If I could talk I’d tell you…

…how brilliant he is!
I’ve seen him twice this year, once in February doing an acoustic solo show and about two weeks ago with his band.
He’s got such a huge reservoir of amazing songs which work both in an acoustic and electric way.
It’s great that he’s back with such a lovely album after it’s been a bit quiet about him over the past years.
There’s only one thing to complain about:
Nevermind all the classic stuff from It’s A Shame about Ray, but he should play real old songs like Mallo Cup once in a while.

When we got to the gig he confused the hell out of us, he came on and said “I bet you didn’t know we were a german band, we’re called Manhole” I had to ask a guy who looked like Beck whether it was Evan Dando or not!

Yep, in Bielefeld two weeks ago he didn’t seem to in the best physical condition either, but as long as he can play his songs…

I really love Evan Dando, normally I’m not the biggest fan of Virgin Radio, but on their web-site there is a live session where he plays Eve of Destruction - fantastic. :)

No way, she’s such a housewife type of woman now.
The real dream girl was the goddess of bass, Kim Deal.
Oh, and Christina Spencer from Boss Hog, of course, remember the Drinkin’, Letchin’, Lyin’ cover…

Does anyone need more proof that he had a drug problem? :D
On the other hand, he would have been really mad if he had kissed me.
