Yepp, they should play in Helsinki, coz it seems they will not play in Russia this year, but i want to see them. So Helsinki is the best city (except Moscow and St.Petersberg)) to do it.

Yep, no mention about Helsinki… At this point I’m dissapointed. I’m student, so I have not enough money to travel Gothenburg to see them… I only hope that those “few” dates that haven’t been anounced yet would be Helsinki date.

Damn! I’m REALLY dissapointed too! It seems that the “market” for Therapy? is in UK, Belgium, Germany and Holland so that they exclude the rest of us out of the live shows.

I thought that the fellas had a great time last year in Helsinki and Tampere but this time no Finnish gig (and a broken promise from the band ;o). We would even go to Stockholm but Göteborg is too far away. Schedule is far too tight to fit in Finland in the middle of the tour because of the ferry trip. The only way to get the band here (or anyone else) would be a loooooo-oooo-ng bridge to Sweden…

Hello and welcome to the board!

The band owes us an explanation why they skipped Finland this time. Usually they keep their promises, but not this time… :(

I know that I’m rambling and there are many, many, many countries that T? have skipped far more than Finland but all finns loves you bastards. So get your butts up north and make us all happy… ;D

Since when are there no Finland gigs?

Whilst they are not guaranteed, surely you can just assume that there are no confirmed Finish tourdates announced yet.

A subtle, but important, difference.

Agreed. I’m also hoping they’ll be able to squeeze Helsinki in some slot. Doesn’t look good though..

Ok, I see your point Alex.

But was it the band who was worried about the “rumour-dates”? I mean that they don’t want to fans to start making all the necessary things (hotel reservations & trips) to see the band on the other cities or (in my case) in the other country. But by releasing dates like this, some now and some later, they do…

I’m the panic-kind-of-person what comes to T? and I’m really looking foward to see them live and when there hasn’t been any words about Finland in this leg of tour so far I’m this near () to push the panic-button. Now my (our) chances to see them live with these official tour-dates are Stockholm in Sweden or the 3 norwegian dates and I can assure you that those trips are gonna be expensive to us because Scandinavia is really expensive place to live…

I thought that they aren’t gonna come nearer than Göteborg since there ain’t much off-days in the calendar (It takes a over 12 hours to come from Stockholm to Halsinki by ferry) but hopefully they’ll release more dates and with some finnish dates are there too…

What I’m trying to say that UN-confirmed tour-dates would a little ease my pain…

I see what you mean :)

Obviously if the current dates go to the end of November, but there’s some December gigs still to be announced (and maybe in Finland) then you would not worry so much as December is a further month away from November and therefore gives you another month’s planning time and breathing space. But what you are saying is that if Finland doesn’t happen, you would like to try to arrange a Swedish trip, which needs planning and money, and that given the Swedish gigs are early on, you will be left with little time to plan.

So, perhaps, Rene, you would consider announcing which countries T? _intend_ to visit from mid/end Nov onwards, even if you don’t mention towns themselves?

I understand you want to see Therapy? and not knowing whether they will come to Finland puts you in a difficult position. However, your comment above is incorrect. They do not want you to book hotels/trips/etc. for UNCONFIRMED gigs, regardless of the fact if they are in your own country or another.

Like I said, I do understand your problem, but I don’t think the downside of not announcing a bunch of confirmed dates if the ‘full tour’ is not complete yet doesn’t weigh up to this issue. It would be very difficult to announce any tour dates then, as it’s always possible they will visit a specific country soon enough after a certain tour for you to decide to pass up on the shows in nearby countries, if that makes sense.

I cannot tell you anything on which countries will soon be confirmed. I will say, however, that I personally haven’t heard Finland being mentioned in this context for the dates in October and November. This does NOT guarantuee ANYTHING, and I cannot be held responsible for any decisions in relation to this.

As for after November, I haven’t heard anything about this, no rumours, nothing.

I meant that the band by releasing tour dates like this (some now and some later) makes us to make decisions that are not wise.
I’m again referring to my (and other finns) problem based on the official-announced tourdates,if we would like to see T? at this tour we all have to make our way to Göteborg and that needs a lot of money and time to make that since there is a big distance between.
I understand that people in mainland-Europe can drive from a city to another but as there is sea in the middle of Sweden and Finland that question is out ‘cos ferry ain’t cheap and by land it would something like _2000_ km to see Therapy?
I really had my hopes up that T? would throw a gig or two at this tour in Finland but now I thrown my axe in to the well as the old finnish folklore thingy says… ;)

You can add me to the list of desperate Finns who are wondering about possible choices to see T? live this year.

I’ve been reloading the tour page like hell (well, at least daily) in the last few days to check if there’re Finnish dates added to the list.

Yes, it’s a long trip to Gothenburg, and why not go all the way to Germany for the five gigs - at least cost per gig might be lower :)

I heard today that Finland is being looked into as a POSSIBLE stop for the October/November tour, so it might be worth waiting with booking a trip to Sweden.

Hope so… now I won’t hunt the tickets to Gothenburg show anymore. It’s sad that they dropped Gothernburg out, but _maybe_ that means they will play in Sweden and Finland later.
