Bad Bidder Alert!!!!

Started by Brendon

I usually don’t do anything like this, but it appears that one of our own is attemtping to rob me a few items. Piers, (Perversonality on this board, and on his website) won an eBay auction way back in February, and to this date I have never received payment. He managed to make off with about 4 of my T? discs and a vinyl I believe. Obviously, I’m an idiot for trusting him, but I thought that the other folks on this board should be aware that one of us isn’t exactly 100% honest.

Didn’t he respond to any of his e-mails you have sent him? This sucks quite a bit for you. Did he say he sent payment, and did it never arrive, or didn’t you hear anything from him at all?

I don’t know all the details of this story, but Piers… Come on man, if you still haven’t paid for the items, do it! This is not the way to treat people. But again, I don’t know what the details are of this situation.

Hi,
I also sell on e-bay now and then… I always wait till I receive payment before I ship an item. Items that are worth over an amount of money I let them send registrated so the buyer can not say he didn’t received the item. Piers, talk to Ronald you might learn from him!!! He’s always very stricked and nice when it comes to paying when I bought something for him again!!! Brendon, I hope it works out ok for you… this is not a way to treat somebody and especialy somebody that loves the same band as you do!!! Please let us know how the storie continous.
Luck, Iris

I almost always wait for payment as well. Bascially, what happened is this:

He won a Perversonality promo from me, and sent me a check made out in English pounds to cover it. I went to the bank to cash it, and was told that there would be a $20 fee to cash it, which pretty much meant it wasn’t worth cashing. I told him this, and he offered to send cash instead. Since he proved himself trustworthy by sending the check right away, I sent the promo, along with a few other items he wanted. He got them right away, and told me the cash was in the mail. As you can guess, it never arrived. I gave it at least a month, and nothing. I told him it hadn’t come, and I’d give it 2 more weeks, and that if it didn’t arrive by then, I asked him to simply box the stuff up and mail it back. Of course, I never got the stuff back. I gave him at least another month, and then I started emailing him about it. To this date, I haven’t received a reply.

It peeves me, because I trusted him and helped him out in finding quite a few T? items. In addition to this, I had him get one of those Crossing Borders CDs from Ronald, since I didn’t have access to English pounds. Of course, that CD never arrived either. I know I’ve done business with 1 or 2 people from this board with no problems at all. When I was selling discs via my site, I often times sent out packages before payment arrived. I’m a little pissed off at this, since I lost a good $50-60 worth of stuff, and there’s a lot of frustration involved. I don’t like to single out people or rat on them, but when one of our own is pulling shit like this, I thought it might be important to warn everyone else.

Hi Brendon,
The thing I feel sorry for the most is… I think that on this board there where so many fans who would really have appreceatet (or whoever you write that) the items and searching for it for a long time! That somebody can damage your trust!!! PIERS SEND HIM THE MONEY!!!

Yo
I traded with Piers a while back, about may by mr reckoning and he came through for me. I’ve got no problems with the guy as he was really quick in sending the stuff to me. Maybe there was some misunderstanding between piers and u brendon , i don’t know, but i’ve only praise for the guy as he helped me out.

Sorry to hear about your predicament, but you should realise that if money was sent in the post it’s all too likely that it has gone missing. However, he isn’t responding to his emails, that’s odd.

Yep - got the worst email in my life today - the guy who is
selling the genuine ‘Have A Merry…’ 7” (which I won on
ebay) sent me an email asking if I’d sent the 70 pounds yet?
I did - a fucking week ago…we both live in Ireland and mail
takes ONE day to change hands. So that pretty much means that
a fucking scumbag postman has made off with my cash. Either
that or the seller is ripping me off, which I doubt cos he’s
he’s got good feedback on ebay. Still, it’s weird - I’ve never
had a letter go missing before and I’ve even sent cash to fucking
Singapore with no problems. I’m seriously having a fucking bad day

Hey! Shit happens. I got ripped of atleast 4 times by people with a feedback rating of atleast a 200. I also had send a payment twice. The seller told me that he received the payment. I never received shit from the ashole.

Something even better! BEWARE OF THE TYPICAL MANTALY DISTURBT NIRVANA FAN! Recently I put up 20 items for sale of Nirvana only 4 persons paid. 2 others even gave me a negative feedback saying I ripped them off.

Maybe it was my fault as I should never have tried to sell Nirvana shit online.

Got the 7” okay actually - it was a fuck up by me that caused
the mess in the first place. $80 for it! I get the feeling some
people backed out of bidding thinking it was the bootleg…ha ha.
There was only 100 released, so $80 is very good considering that
Meat Abstract (1000 released) can make over $100. Lucky me, eh?
