Started by Phantom

Hello,
I’m just back from the cinema. I won’t give any details about the story, I just think it’s a “must see” so go and enjoy the movie.

And when you come back don’t forget to leave your opinions on the WoM!

Read you soon,
P

Saw it!!! I still have to think about it…
Just a hint for everybody, go and see part 2 the same day/week, ‘cause part 3 starts exactly where part 2 has ended, it took me too long to ‘get into it’ again.

Good hint BBGI, you can actually see the two movies as a single 4 hours lasting one…

Some people are not satisfied by the way it ends up.
Me, I DID enjoy!

One of my thoughts about Revolutions is that, once again, I’ve assisted to some incredible SFX *thinking about the fight in the rain* that will surely be copied anywhere else (as it happened for camera stills and “bullet time” of the first movie).

Read ya soon,

I really totally LOVED!!! Matrix Revolutions, went to see it last night. It starts off a bit slow, but the action really kicks in after the first half hour or so. Part 2 left some of us a bit ‘lost’ in the story, but part 3 really answers the questions posed in part 2. The fight with agent Smith (superbly played by Hugo Weaving, his performance is legendary!) in the rain is really brilliantly filmed, never seen anything like it! All in all, I think the saga ended very well with this film!

My brother said some people in his flat hated it, but I’m still going to see it. I enjoyed Reloaded and I’m really looking forward to it!

It’s louder and a little better than part 2, but it’s really not a good movie. The ending is the biggest letdown in years. I don’t know why the Wachowksi bros had to ruin the great movie that part 1 was by turning it into an average trilogy. All I can tell you is, don’t expect part 3 to give plausible answers…

I saw Matrix Revolutions last night and it was actually ok,a few of my friends had seen it before me and they said it was a bad movie. The fight between Agent Smith and Neo was my favourite bit,the way the film ended left more questions than it answered but i expected that,i still enjoyed it.

I hated it, am i in a minority here?? I thought it was awful, and boring, and most of it didn’t make any sense at all (or maybe i’m just pissed off that i put so much effort into understanding the second movie, only for most of it to be utterly disregarded in the third one). I had to go see Kill Bill again to cheer myself up…

But i obviously am in the minority here, so i’ll shut up. :D

I agree, the Wachowskis turned an awesome film (Part 1) into an overhyped and average trilogy. I’d say the story was eroded to give way to some unsatisfying stuff that looked like it could be part of Star Trek. I’ll still probably buy it though, in case I ever get the urge to watch all 3 in a row:)
