after going to see Therapy? at Newport last night, i had a pretty rough morning in work (about 3 hours sleep)…

so i walk in and my manager has a little conversation with me, goes like this:

manager: “out last night then?”
me: “aye, went to tj’s down in newport”
manager: “oh went to see a band did you?”
me: “yeah”
manager: “who was it?”
me: “Therapy?”
manager: “oh yeah, i know ‘em, Irish band i saw them a few times years back”
me: “really? awesome”

at this point im in shock that my manager knew who Therapy? were, i thought that was pretty cool.

then later in the day my manager comes back from break carrying a plastic bag, he hands it over to me and says ‘here you go borrow that’.

and what’s in the bag?

a Therapy? bootleg vinyl from 1992, live at the Astoria 27th November…in mint condition.
