I quite like the cockpit. Its the first time I’ve been there but I like how you could be so close to the band! Did anyone else see the guy near the front with crutches? That confused me a little bit, but fair play to him, he seemed to be having a good time!
All this stuff of people saying Andy’s voice wasn’t on form, for leeds his voice was great!
Now everyone can we whisper “James Joyce is fucking my sister”? Don’t make me get tabasco sauce! :D

wasn’t the setlist fantastic???? an hour and a half set!
no lonely cryin’ only though :(
i’m bleary eyed and have whiplash and some one poked me rather sharply in the ribs so they’re hurting too. I was in the cockpit bar before hand with a few mates - was wearing black jeans, grey gemmil t shirt and blakc and red hair, but didn’t spot anyone from off here..,.Hoochalobster - what did you end up wearing cos i was looking out for the green skirt…!
Whiteosycho - you don’t have shoulder length blond hair do you? cos there was someone stood to my right with very blond hair and a dreadlocked person kept wandering past…
amyway the people i went with stayed at the back whilst i went and stood almost at the front but to the left - and obscured everyone’s view behind me cos Im quite tall ;)I as on the edge of the moshing.
can anyone tell me what the song was that immediately followed ‘Sister’ (dedicated to Sarah whom I was stood behind!). I’ve been with T? since the screamager days and do have the earlier stuff..but that one seems to have escaped my attention…
oh and to the guy stood immediately behind me who was shouting ‘james joyce is fucking my sister’ - i hope the tabasco sauce was unpleasant!!
and if you’re reading this Andy - you’re a very nice bloke and thanks for the autograph and chat beforehand in the bar.
up the WOMbles!

Hah yeah - I couldn’t believe I got that dedication for Sister *smug mode* :D - If you were stood right behind me you should have said hello! Sorry I didn’t wear the green skirt, we were running really late and I couldn’t be arsed getting changed, heh.
I was stood next to the guy on crutches for a bit - the pit seemed to take a while to get going though so he was pretty safe I think.
My memory may be playing tricks on me but I think they played Punishment Kiss after Sister.
Anyway, we were in the bar upstairs from about 6.30, we went around all the tables saying ‘do you frequent the Wall of Mouths?’ but just got funny looks. We did find MarkoJii and Mina (I’m sorry I don’t know how to spell it either!) afterwards and that was cool - I hope your photos turned out alright :)

Sounds like me, my mate has dreads and he’s tall too, but my hair isn’t that blonde, so maybe maybe not

The two “crazy” finns are back home from Wolverhampton, Preston and Leeds “mini T? tour”. Hello to everyone we met!
We had such a great time in UK and it was nice to see Hooch and mr self destruct (that was you with sarah and co., right?)!!!!!
Thank you also Andy, Michael and Neil, as well the whole crew!! It was nice to see you at the bar after the Leeds gig.
It would have been great to see other WoMbles as well but as everyone we asked at Wolv. & Preston that are you a WoMmer, they’ve heard of us but weren’t regulars. I guess that we should make a “sign” so that we can spot a WoMmer in the growd… That Gemil drawn in forehead is a foolish idea but we should figure something out the Turbonegro-style as they have “Turbojugend” patches…
We are gonna definately do this again on the foregoming tours as it was so great to see the lads 3 night in a row.
Cheers, MarkoJii

I found it hilarious when somebody in the crowd shouted “Hypermania” and Neil jumped up, shouted “Who said that” and took a photo. He apparently wants to play that song…
Michael had some problem with his wireless bass microphone-thingy and he said that; “No wonder, I bought it from Sheffield”… ;o)
Sascha you’d be interested in this; Andy said that they might throw a gig at St. Petersburg at the beginning of the next year…

Good idea!!!
Cos then i would have been able to ID you Hooch! I didn’t realise you = sarah = Hoochalobster!! d’oh. I was stood about 2 people behind you…dammit. You don’t have a gemil tattoo do you?
We were stood at bottom of stairs in Cockpit bar from 6.30 for ages, with a lass with bright red hair, and a tall guy. there were a group of people stood over by a fruit machine who kept looking at me - that wasn’t you was it? i was wondering if they recognised me, but no one did *sniff*.
wish i could have stayed on for the club, but in another life i have a sensible day job and had to be up for a bloody meeting…next time - definitely next time we will meet up, with some sort of secret womble sign…

You’ve made a tough question… I really can’t say. The feeling was great in Tavastia and Martin was there. But it was so special to see them in UK as a three-piece and 3 nights in a row. That made it good since normally we get just one show in Finland. Preston was the best as a “gig” but Leeds was also great especially meeting WoMmers and the band.
We are planning a trip to St. Petersburg if they will play there.

Well I got to the bar at about 7.15 (tall, skinny guy, old!) and had a wee look around but didn’t see anyone - I certainly was’t asked if I ‘frequent the wall of mouths’ (think yourself lucky you only got funny looks, hooch - I know several people who would probably just lamp you if they were asked that question!)
All in all I was a bit disappointed - perhaps inevitably after Manchester,Belfast and Sheffield this year. Without Martin it felt a bit thin - not so much on Babyteeth/Pleasure death/troublegum tracks, which had been performed as a trio before - but certanly on all the newer stuff which was written for a 4 piece.
They looked and sounded exhausted to me, and I wondered if Neil had had a little dab of something as he played every song at 200mph!

Can’t agree I’m afraid. Had to stay sober cos I was driving, and I thought his voice was shot. Maybe if I were drunk…?
anyway. moan over.
er, no it’s not. After all the polls where we vote to hear them play our favourite song -what about the songs we’d rather not hear? I’ve seen T? more times than I can count over the last ten years and, just for once, how about no ‘Potato Junkie’?
OK I’m hiding now.

Hey, that was me shouting for Hypermania!!! I didn’t see Neil jump up though… Do you mean Neil took a photo? I was miffed that Andy thinks it’s “crap”, so I’ll probably never see them play it live. Wish they would though, and I can see why Neil would want to play it - I think it’s Fyfe at his best.
(BTW MarkoJii, if I’ve got the right person here (you’re from Finland and was wearing a Pleasure Death shirt?), I’m the guy you spoke to coming out of the toilets before the gig; you showed me your photo of Andy Cairns with you in the bar! Hope they turned out well.)
