[quote=Jason1310]Hey! *waves* The 10pm Curfew I think will be true because theres a club night that runs in the academy on Friday nights so I think the curfew will be set so as not to run into that

Hi! a scouse defector here…in Leeds now! they played the Cockpit in Leeds on tues - came on at 8.30 and were off for 10pm as there was a club night on after. That was handy midweek like as i could get home on the last bus :D but on a friday night i’d be a bit cheesed off! I’ve seen other bands on fridays there and then just stuck around for the club night…
Can anyone tell me if the Theatre Royal in the ‘pool is a theatre again now? when i were a teen it were a venue for bands ‘cos i saw (cough) EMF there as a wee ‘un…

eh, just woke up. gig fucking ROCKED. met the blonde one, and she ended up enjoying a ridiculous wait for a taxi with us at the end of the night. grr. taxi firms suck.

anyway. gig. rocked. went to the krazy house afterwards for more carnage. took Neil & Michael, who seemed to enjoy it. i think everyone had a good time all round. well, apart from my wallet. ouch.

blonde one, check in when your flight lands, so i know my mate didn’t lock you in the boot of his car or something ;)

‘eeeeey the gig rocked.

Was Andy actually at the forum meet-up? I met Blonde Blade but kinda scuttled away because Andy was there, and I felt weird just sitting myself down next to him…he might have wanted some space…peace and that, I dunno

That was a weird situation, I didn’t know that was going to happen… :p Andy’s great though, if it happens again, I’ll bear such a thing in mind!

Sorry I didnt meet you too Phil

That was the best gig ive ever been to. Been waiting ages to hear them live and it lived up to expectation, shame Martin wasnt there, but still, fucking awesome show.

Pitty it’s a Carling academy and not a Stella one :p

Eh? Oh, morning. :D Sorry, i’ve been sleeping off friday for the last couple of days…

OMG the gig rocked SO MUCH!!! I still can’t believe it! Thank you so much to the lovely guys i met for letting me share a taxi/sleep on your sofa/drive me to the airport at a truly unsociable time in the morning. You guys are the best! *big happy hugs*

I’ve still not wiped the big stupid grin off my face… i’m sure Andy thinks i’m a total stalker freak now, but it was so worth it! I probably should have left him in peace as well, but i was having the most bizarre conversation in the world with his uncle and just didn’t want to leave! :D

Can anyone help me out with the setlist, btw? I have a terrible memory and can’t remember the song order at all. And now i’m going back to sleep for a bit. :D

Title: “beautiful scousers”

Andy was joking in Northampton about how many people in Liverpool have a moustache and seem to look like him at IL times. Any reference to wombles? :p

lol, didn’t mention anything about that on friday. :D Personally, i didn’t see any scousers that looked like him… which is probably a good thing because i embarrassed myself quite enough for one night without jumping on random strangers and telling them they looked like Andy Cairns.

What a fantastic gig - as always! And I finally got to meet the band again (only other time was at a signing about 9 years ago  ) - I was very pleased to meet them and they were perfect gentlemen who took time out to chat to me even though I probably came across at a crazed groupie (I was really trying to be  but I don’t think I succeeded :() Never mind, I had a great time anyway and I apologise to the band for my behaviour!

Someone asked about the set list - I have one from Wolves which is almost identical to what they played in Liverpool - when I have it with me I’ll copy it out for you if you like. The highlight of the set for me was Moment of Clarity…WOW :D

The set list was fantastic, but i still missed Knives :( Diane would have been cool to hear as well. Never the less, still a totally amazing gig, no other band compares to em.
