:D :D

So happy was I to see it again. I think they did pretty well. Obv. living up to the expectations of everybody was gonna be nigh on impossible but I really enjoyed it. Brent’s music video had me cowering behind a cushion

Pleeeeeeeeeease let Dawn tell Tim she loves him tomorrow - does anyone think we’re gonna get the happy ending?

Little Britain rules, in a very, very sick and twisted way. The whole granny-kissing-pervert malarky etc…

For those fortunate enough to have JD at our disposal, yes. :p

I also love that it has Anthony Head in it, I miss him and couldn’t get into that Man-something program.

Well, if it’s not him there’s a scary Tom Baker sound-a-like on Daisy’s videos. Tweenies suck, how can you not want to punch Bella everytime she opens her oversized yellow fecking gob?

I don’t know who she is! But I do know that Betty Boo does songs and voices for the Tweenies, which makes them tops in my book!

Bella is the yellow and red one, who, retrospectively, I think actually has a blue oversized gob. Even the talents of Betty Boo cannot save it from being the most dire piece of crap in the CBeebies schedule. More Pingu, dammit.

Back on topic (laughable I know) - did anybody else watch the last Office tonight? I am so happy, Tim & Dawn, Tim & Dawn, Tim & Dawn, Tim & Dawn, Tim & Dawn, Tim & Dawn etc… Plus David telling Chris to fuck off - hurrah! It was perfect. :)

Fool! Phones were unplugged, relatives were sent to bed, silence was demanded in this household :D

T’was the xmas party - David got a hot date from the agency, who actually liked him! Dawn left to go back to Florida but had a change of heart and came back and kissed Tim (deserves Oscar for best screen kiss ever, I cried). Chris Finch was being his usual crap self and David finally had the guts to just say ‘Fuck off’ (cue cheering from the sofa) and everybody lived happily ever after :D

I thought the second episode was better than the first one but the stand out funny moment of the two specials was David Brents music video.:D I thought the Office specials were better than the ‘Last ever episode’ of Only Fools And Horses which alright (i bet they make more).
I imagine the American remake is going to be terrible but Ricky Gervais is acting as an executive producer on it,he also working on a new show for the BBC.

i only saw the second part of the office and thought it was good. highlight was definitely when david brent told finchy to fuck off. but in terms of christmas specials, nothing will ever top the league of gentlemens christmas special from a few years back.

I happened to come across the last episode on telly in my hotel room. Oh boy, I’ll never complain again about the standards of German tv programs. :)

Seriously, it was a bit funny, esp. the guy desperately trying to date women, but I don’t like this mix of soap opera and documentray at all. To me it seems they only want to save money on a proper script.

Well, if you’ve watched the German contestant for this world pop idol superstar shite thing, you’ll certainly acknowledge we love having a laugh on our expenses.
In fact, if you really come across a Aerman with no sense of humour at all, he must be Austrian. :p

The Office had the greatst ending ever..
Tim and Dawn.
Brent telling Chris Finch to “fuck off”
Brent gettin a girl
Brent getting a laugh with his Frank Spencer impression

..and did anyone else think the choice of music was genius?

Back for good - Take That. played when Dawn was about to leave

Look of Love - ABC. (ABC are just brilliant anyway)

Only You - Yazoo. What a song to unite Tim and Dawn

I’ve only read about it in the newspaper. The guy from Norway won, the German finishing last getting a well deserved slagging off.
But wait till to the European song contest. :D

They’re coming out at Easter, apparently BK. Hopefully with some decent extras, I’d really like to see the pilot in full, there are clips of it on the Season 2 documentary.

re World Idol, yey Norway! That was the little guy. I was rooting for Canada though, myself. Was it the Belgian guy who sang Lithium? that was hilarious.
