Punishment Kiss Ringtone?

#

Started by mooneycult

There is a girl in my computer lab at the moment and her ringtone is EXACTLY the same as the verse riff for Punishment Kiss. That doesn’t seem all that likely to me so am wondering if anyone else has heard a similar ringtone and which song is it actually from?

(I would ask her but frankly I hate her so I won’t.)

You don’t have to ask her. Instead you can:

1. Steal her phone (just for a while) :D
2. Copy over the riff on your mobile
3. Return the phone

As for your question I haven’t heard it so I can’t tell for sure…

Or, run her down with a car. Then steal the phone and you’ve killed two birds with one stone

It might be the song ‘Shinobi vs. Dragon Ninja’ by Lost Prophets, the guitar riff in that song sounds very similar to the riff in Punishment Kiss.

Just ask her. How well do you know her? She might not be the foul cow you think she is*, and it sounds like she might have good taste in music, so you could be missing out on something good (even if only 1 night of something good), or failing that, she might have friends she could introduce you to.

*unless she’s plug ugly, in which case fair point

Thanks.

And I guess she’s ok looking, in a sort of foundation-caked-on-with-a-shovel-dyed-blond-black-roots kinda way. A right beour, as we would say in Cork. Its unlikely thats shes ever heard of punishment kiss or Therapy? though!

Slightly off-topic, but can anyone recommend any good sites for polyphonic ringtones? Esp stuff like T?/Offspring/Muse/Evanescence/Papa Roach and, er, OMD…

Have you got a polyphonic phone with bluetooth or infra red? cause you can send midi files from your computer to your phone usually - which saves you £3 from these dumbass sites

I’ve got a Sony Ericsson T610, so yes re IR & bluetooth - how would I send stuff from my computer, presumably I need a computer with either IR or bluetooth, which I don’t think it has.

If you’re right, does that mean I can put any T? song on?

If you’ve got a data cable to connect your mobile to your PC you can upload ringtones. Polyphonics are usually in the midi format which means you can’t simply convert mp3s into midi (at least I don’t know any program which does it properly).
dmw_ops’s website has Screamager and die Laughing as midi files to download, they’re excellent.

Same phone as me - you can pick up a cheap bluetooth USB adaptor / dongle thingy for about £15 - then you can send files to and from your phone - ringtones, backgrounds, themes and photo’s you take with the phone.

I have a guitar tab program called Guitar Pro - it plays the song in midi so you can hear what parts sound like - but you can also export to a midi file - just send it accross to your phone and use as a ringtone!
