We’ve got two series in and I’ve only seen the release dates for those two. First one was out around mid October and the second was 2 or three weeks later.

Ye Olde Music Zone in the beautiful Trafford Centre. T’is most horrid but cheap. Actually thinking about it it may be £4.97 now or even less because we’ve just re-priced most of the shop. Oh and its on DVD- not seen any video.

Hows that for an advert?!?!? :)

*sniffle* Ohhhh, Cities of Gold was my favourite show ever when i was a kid. It was repeated about six years ago or something, and just the title music made me cry. Um, maybe i shouldn’t admit stuff like that.

While we’re on the subject, i’d just like to point out that Samurai Jack is a damn fine example of modern cartoons that rock (as is Angry Beavers and the Powerpuff Girls, of course). And Fox Kids is now my favourite channel because it’s showing old episodes of Ghostbusters (although i have to keep sneaking out of work early to watch it). Ghostbusters is clearly the best cartoon series ever made in the history of anything, and anyone who argues with me is just wrong. Yes. :D

@Jsar666 - Shannon Doherty stripped to the theme from Mighty Mouse, not Danger Mouse. Ha, i’m a bigger pedant than you! :p

Drats! Danger Mouse would have been funnier though :)

I dunno, Doherty with all on show singing ‘here I come to save the daaaaaaay’…I’m amused :D And also interested in why?

Nothing beats The Simpsons though. The fact that you’d keep watching the same episodes over and over, and still laugh, is a testament to it’s class and longevity.

Not when the BBC repeat the same series over and over and over and over and over again and again and again and again, as they had a hard on for a while ago!

I just thought the idea of her uncovering one breast while singing “Danger Moooouse” playing was highly amusing :D

Aside from that, … without being geeky and remembering it (though that would be good!) and without looking it up on the net… what was that quote from Bender when he ended up being golden-plated or someting smiliar…

It was a kinda “bite my shiny metal ass” but it wasn’t. And it wasn’t that. And it was only probably funny if you watch Futurama. And even that, you had to be there.
:)

“Bite my glorious golden ass”

It was in the episode with the parallel universe - It was Benders’ almost identical twin. Only he was golden.

Another classic is in the episode where Bender doesn’t want to get an upgrade, so instead he goes back to nature: “Bite my splintery wooden ass” :D
