That was exactly what i was thinking! T?, Wildhearts and the ‘Vision have always been my favourite 3 bands, shame Tony and the boys can’t be on this tour.

Still, its gonna be fan-fucking-tastic anyway!

Up the Brit bands!!!!!

Heh heh, as long as the alternative is not to see T? at all this spring, I’m happy to see them support almost anyone.

Aye, its a pity Newcastle isn’t in this tour (especially as its the wildhearts gig). But I’ve got me a ticket and I’m happier than a pig in shit!!
Anyone else doing the trek from the North East to Edinburgh (and anyone know what the liquid room is like)?

I’ve seen T? at the Liquid Rooms twice, once supported by the Yo-Yo’s and Clutch :D the other by Defenestration :( It’s got a good atmosphere. It’s close to the train station, which is good if you’re hoping to catch the last train home.

The second time I saw T? was at Donnington, when they were on the main stage, and WIldhearts and Terrorvision were both on the tiny baby stage. Undoubtedly the best three bands of the day.

Err… probably closer to 200 capacity than 2,000. It is a great venue - can’t wait for the Edinburgh and Glasgow gigs.

Ferg.

p.s. I bet the reason T? have been added is to help shift tickets. That’s my theory, anyway.

No way, it’s got enough space for at least 1,000 people.. it’s been a while, so 2,000 might be overshooting.

Definitely more than 200 though. Whether or not there will be 2,000 people there for T? is another matter. One of my T? at the Liquid Rooms tickets has the serial number 00425 and the other has 000520, so blah.

It has changed a lot in the years. Now has a bigger balcony and isn’t just a danceclub that also does gigs.
It’s got the feel of a cool venue now. As for the weegie shit: why don’t you come to the garage and we’ll see about that:D

Only 600? Oh well, slap me with a silly stick and I stand corrected. That means the 2nd T? gig I went to was probably sold out :) I knew it was more than 200. It’s got a bigger capacity for the club nights, cos they use the stage as part of the dancefloor… but I digress.

I met Andy and Michael on the balcony during Clutch’s set, so see if you can meet the guys there if you go the Liquid Rooms gig.

The Garage is better now. I saw 3 Colours Red last year in May there and it seemed a lot more professional. The backstage area is shite though :) One of the sofa arms is falling off. Seen T? there 3 times. They were always brilliant.

Mother, why would I go to the Garage to meet you? You live in the ‘Dam now, don’t you? ;)

Wildhearts don’t need Therapy? to shift tickets as they sold out the Barrowlands last year…

And Wildhearts are bigger, these days at least…they may have split up but they have a big hardcore fan base…A hardcore fan base that helped get their self financed single get on top of the pops last year…

But don’t get me wrong, therapy? are my preference…so long as Andy and the boys play a glorious Greatest hits support set…

But it’s going to be an awesome gig

I got flights for the Saturday and coming back Sunday so I can have a ripper of a night in Glasgow. Isn’t 100 Euro worth that?

100 Euro? That’s not too bad. Unfortunately, 100 Euro is about a week’s wages for me atm, and I just can’t afford to miss any more payments on my student overdraft :( If I were working a normal job, I’d definitely go though. Cannae beat Glasgie for gigs.

Oh, and somewhat O/T I broke up with my gf over Christmas so it looks like I won’t be moving to Glasgow after all :( Well, maybe I will due to the relatively frequent T? gigs :) Before I went to uni, I’d never seen T? live, but while at uni I saw them 6 times in a span of 4 years :)

This will be the 9th time I see them I think…, it’s starting to get hard to count :D.
I could probably do a lot more sensible stuff with the 100 euros but fuck it, I’ll treat myself to some fun.

Nope, they have a new album out, so touring to support it seems quite natural.

100 Euros is definitely worth it, as long as you can find somewhere decent to kip for Saturday night, unless you’re going to try to sleep in the Buchanan street bus station or something. One of my friends did that and all these sleazy old guys came onto her. But that’s another story.

Let’s hope they play a good mixed set like they have been doing lately. I think the Scopophobia set was pretty good, but I know there are people who want Dancin’ With Manson et al on there as well.

Where did you get the ticket for The Garage??? Did you have someone in Glasgow buy it for you? Where can non-Scots get ‘em?

Dude, I got my Edinburgh tickets from http://www.wayahead.com

They cover all venues but you have search by wildhearts, and not therapy? :D

damo, did you buy your tickets from Ripping Records on North Bridge in Edinburgh? Those guys don’t have a clue. When Rival Schools supported A on the “Hi-Fi Serious” tour, they told me Rival Schools were only playing the English dates… numpties.

Everybody seems to be talking about Therapy? supporting The Wildhearts but since there’s a third band playing, you may very well call this a double-bill, right?

Chances are that both Wildhearts and T? will play a FULL set with the third band being the support act…

I don’t know if it can be called a double bill as Therapy? are on the bill as guests to The Wildhearts as it’s their tour and Therapy? are their special guests…T? will undoubtedly play a much longer set than The Glitterati but a shorter one than the Wildhearts, seeing as it’s their tour

A quick note regarding the Wildhearts tour. It’s still on, but the dates are going to change slightly… somewhere within about a week of the original ones, so keep your eyes peeled.
