Setlist Melkweg 12-10-2000

It was a great gig, the first one of the European tour, at which they played a brand new song for the first time! Anyway, I’m bad at remembering the exact order in which they played them, but here are the songs, with the first three and last three songs in order:

Fat Camp (great!)
Screamager
Little Tongues First
Stop It, You’re Killing Me
Bad Mother
Turn
Joy (I think it was called this, it’s a brand new song!)
Lonely Cryin’ Only
Nowhere
Bad Karma Follows You Around
He’s Not That Kind Of Girl
Evil Elvis (never heard this before live..)
Diane
Die Laughing (dedicated to Kurt Cobain and Phil Lynott)
Church Of Noise
——
Wicked Man (dedicated to ex-major of Belfast who lives in Amsterdam)
Teethgrinder (yes!)
Knives (audience singing most parts of the song)

Anyone else has some additions or a more exact order? I might have forgotten one song..

The guys were clearly having fun, despite of the failure of some of the equipment during the gig. Andy’s batteries were not well as he said so himself.. There was also a problem with Martin’s chello. Anyway, great gig! Tonight the second one…

It was a great gig indeed..
All I missed in the setlist was Straight Life. Anyway about the support bands… The first band was really ok, mxpx. The second band were a bunch of stupid motherfuckers, god I hated that band. It was called less than jake.
Cheers.

I can’t agree more! Less Than Jake sucked real bad. MXPX was kinda cool. Let’s hope Less Than Jake isn’t the support band for the whole tour..

I missed Stories and Potato Junkie, although the last one has been played quite a lot of times live already, so it’s not that bad they didn’t play it.

It was a great song! Andy introduced by saying it was a song about/for people who like to drive fast. The song was very up-tempo and had a real good rythym to it. Kinda hard to explain anything more about it, but trust me, you’ll like it… (at least I did…)

Too bad I couldn’t be there, lads! Fortunately I got hold of a ticket for the 25th of october as T. will be in 013/Tilburg then. It’s good to hear the boys are in good shape! See you in Tilburg!

WHAT THE FUCK?!!! I went to see Less Than Jake at the Garage on Wednesday night! And they rocked. I had such a great time… MxPx were OK… I’ve heard their stuff before, they will get better with time. But LTJ were really really good at the Garage. I can’t believe they are both on the T? tour!
