“There’s a heavy metal parking lot…”

I read an interview with Andy in the German music magazine VISIONS, when “Shameless” was released. When Andy was asked about this line (“there’s a heavy metal parking lot”), he said he wrote it because after his house burned down (or got robbed or something) he had to put all his records in a box and keep them in one room. He called that room heavy metal parking lot.

Anyway, I just found out about this cult documentary with the same name. “Heavy Metal Parking Lot” was filmed on the parking lot before a Judas Priest concert in 1986 and it’s hilarious. Takes you back to the good old times, when heavy metal was about getting drunk and headbang, like a real life “Dazed and Confused”. Very confused…

Bad Karma, if you’re interested in watching the documentary, I’m sure you’ll be able to get it from Soulseek. I absolutely recommend it!
