Can someone please let me know how to get an advance ticket for the show without actually being in St. Petersburg? I thought I was going to be tied up on Friday but I just found out today that I can take the afternoon off. I’ve just booked my transport so I’m flying to St. Petersburg on Friday afternoon and then getting the overnight train back to Moscow straight after the gig to be there in time for the Saturday night gig.

All I need now is a concert ticket for St. Petersburg. The website of the promoter only offers online tickets for delivery within St. Petersburg. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Liam!

I know the feeling… We had the same kind of problems as any of us 4 going to the gig don’t speak any russian.

I called to Finnish-Russian-society and the fellow there cave a phone number to “Norden Accociation” where is a nice finnish speaking lady called Anna and she got us the tickets and we are collecting them at St. Petersburg on friday. Their web site is http://norden.spb.ru/ where you can find telephone numbers. They took a fee for their services.

I don’t know that can she or they help you but there’s always a chance to try, right?

I somehow recall that in the there was an irish fellow who moved to Russian in the old Therapy? e-mail mailing-list, is it by any chance you?

Hopefully you will get the ticket and we see at the show…

Hi,

Yes, I am the same exiled Irish guy who was on Dave Switzer’s list.

Thanks for the advice about the tickets. Dr. Bigjoint suggested the obvious solution and gave me the contact details for the venue. They have told me that there will be tickets on sale on the door so it looks like everything will work out.

See you all tomorrow,

Liam

Just got back from St. Petersburg.
The gig was really great!!!!!!!
They played one brand new song. Andy also sung a bit of “I don’t wanna grow up”.
“Punishment Kiss” and “Dancing With Manson” were played.
They played for about 80 mins.

I hope Petri or Marko will post the setlist soon, they have copies of it.

Thanks to Petri&Kati, Marko&Minna, Liam, Masha and Alexei. You were great!!!

In my opinion it sounded like all the heavy stuff off HA. But i may be wrong, let’s wait for the finnish guys ;) They know the title and probably could say how the song sounded exactly.

I think the new song was called “This So Called Life” but it wasn’t written on the printed set list that Kati got.

I have to second Sasha’s assessment. The gig was absolutely amazing and it was great to meet all the Finnish and Russian WOMbles. Roll on tonight…

St. Petersburg was truly magnifient!! We just got home and we are really sore… ;D

It was really nice to see Sascha, Liam & others, you guys rock!!!

The setlist was;
01. Nowhere
02. Teethgrinder
03. Nobosy Here But Us
04. My Voodoo Doll
05. Who Knows
06. A Moment Of Clarity
07. Sister
08. Punishment Kiss
09. Rust
10. If It Kills Me
11. Turn
12. Dancin’ With Manson
13. Potato Junkie
14. Stop It, You’re Killing Me
15. Knives
16. Screamager
—-
17. This So Called Life
18. Church Of Noise
19. I Don’t Wanna Grow Up/Die Laughing
21. ? /Isolation/She’s Lost Control

I really liked Neil’s drumming on the new song (Not kissing his ass ;D). It’s not Screamager but fair enough…

That ? was about 20 seconds Andy singing and playing guitar as “I Don’t Wanna Grow Up”. It sounded like it was an irish folk song but dunno.

There was t-shirts exclusively made for these gigs as there was only dates of this and the Moscow gig.

We met the band at the bar after gig even though they were in a hurry to the train to Moscow (as Sascha & Liam) but they were really cool, talking to fans and allowing to take fotos with them.

It was a really remembreable evening to be in the Therapy?’s first Russian show.

Thank you Neil, Michael & Andy!!!!!!!

I figured out that the song before Isolation was “Shadowplay” by Joy Division (from Unknow Pleasures).

“I Don’t Wanna Grow Up” is a song by Tom Waits, Ramones also covered it on the last album “Adios Amigos” (BTW, it’s a great album, but this is another story).

Can there be life after a T? gig?
What can I say; The whole trip to Russia was fantastic and really excitning. The gig was really great and they played like they had always played as trio.
The crowd was amazing; big hand for the Russian fans! I was in the front row as usual and it was like one big family rocking themself crazy to T? music, no motherfuckers out there making trouble..
The new song wasn´t that good but I ´ll guess it will “grow up” when it´s done ready..

It was nice to meet the lads once again after the show; we took photos and got setlist signed. We talked about next summer´s festival gigs; and now: ALL FINNISH T? FANS, CONTACT MERIMAA (Tavastia Klubi mainman) SO HE WILL (HOPEFULLY) BOOK THEM ON ONE OF HIS FESTIVALS!!!!ANDY, MICHAEL and NEIL ARE WAITING FOR AN INVITATION TO COME AND PLAY HERE IN FINLAND NEXT SUMMER! It´s really shame if they only play Holland, Germany, Belgian etc. gigs next summer and not Finland. Hope they´ll come also to Russia again in near future cause Russians really deserve them to play there!!

Thanks to THERAPY? for a really amazing and magnificent gig.
Thanks and Greetings to MINNA and MARKO, SASCHA and her girlfriend and the friend (sorry but we forgot their names)
and LIAM (thanks for the water during the show, It was really needed..)!
And folks; no video from the show this time, maby next time…

Yes, I recorded Moscow. The sound quality isn’t great but it’s listenable. I’m in the middle of moving house at the moment so I’m not really in a position to do any trades for a couple of weeks. I’ll post a link to an updated trade list on the Buy, Sell & Trade board as soon as I get my music unpacked again.
