i can’t get that song from our german export to the grand prix out of my mind…but it’s especially because they play it everywhere 1000 times a day:

so it’s

Max: can’t wait until tonight

Just try to turn off the radio. It helps.

That guy has a stunning voice, but the song is such a piece of shite.

only problem is i always let me wake up by the radio…and until i managed it to crawl out of bed, it’s most times too late…somehow i got the feeling the radio stations are playing the songs always at the same time every day :)

my opinion is quite the opposite. his voice hurts my ears, but the song would be fine if sung by Bonita.

Hmmm, then you should only wake up at times when there’s good music on the radio. e.g. tune in to L1VE (if you’re in NRW) and set the alarm clock to 8 pm. :)

Umm, except it’s ‘Smash it up’…
I prefer ‘knee knee knee’, anyway… :D:D

I still haven’t got Machine Gun Etiquette :( It’s always either out of stock, really badly overpriced, or I see it when I don’t have the money. I do have a really good live album though (can’t think what it’s called at the moment), it’s (one of) their reunions. There’s some great banter as well. eg.

Rat: We’re not doing it for the money!
(vague murmurs of dissent from the crowd)
Rat (panto -style): OH NO WE’RE NOT!
Crowd (plus at least one other band member): OH YES YOU ARE!
Rat: WE’re doing it because we love you people, youre the kindest most sweetest nicest bunch in the whole wide world. Except you.

:)

I totally agree. ;) The first time I heard it though, I actually understood ‘smashing up’ This has been lingering on in my twisted mind for quite some years. :D

Talking of which, how much longer must we wait for these misheard lyrics? Sarah?

I need more! Come on, more of you must be as deaf as me? Quite a lot got posted on the boards as opposed to emailed to me and I’m too lazy to go find them. There’s a job for you ;)

The annoying thing is that I _know_ that there were loads that I misheard, but once I’ve realised what the original lyrics are, I tended to forget.

Incidentally, why are only the lyrics for Suicide Pact not on this site? I know they’re available elsewhere, and I (obviously) don’t want to make life difficult for you ;) but I was just wondering.

Well, the lyrics on fan-sites are basically done from ear and while they’re mostly correct we’d be a bit embarrassed if we got something wrong, being ‘official’ and all. So we get all of our lyrics directly from Andy and we’re still waiting on the SPYF ones, am sure he’ll get round to it one day…

They’re one of my favourite bands, but hardly anyone knows them (except those I forced to listen to them).

Hmm, seems like I could mention them in another thread as well.
