No, I can’t wait at all, Have tickets (dragging my terrified younger brother with me) and no plan at all for how to get there/back. These things will all come together, I’m sure (Or I may just sleep at St Deny’s train station :) )
It’s been delayed once, can’t wait anymore.

I’m going from Pompey too. I’ve never been to Southampton Uni before. Is it easy to get to from the train station?

There are 4 of us going from Pompey, and we had a dilema about how to get there. Can’t do trains cos last one from Soton Central is at 20 to 11. Uni too far away to get there in time. I’m driving cos would imagine taxi fare to be horrid from Southsea and back :(. This will be my first sober T? gig ever - they NEED to play Pompey again soon!!!

Billy Blue, it’s not hard, exactly, but it’s quite a walk from Southampton Central. It’s a lot quicker from ST Deny’s station, which you will pass on your way from Pompey. The only problem is that the trains don’t always stop at St Deny’s…

Tartan Skirt Girl: twenty to eleven? Shit… ;) Anyone care to join me after the gig, huddled in a doorway drinking meths?

I totally lied - last train is 23:42 from Soton Central to Pompey…oops didn’t mean to freak people out by suggesting that train service isn’t anything other than tip top!! Could still be pushing it tho depending on when gig ends, and is quite a way to get back into town…

Oh, and happy B’day, Tartan!

I know kinda sucks doesn’t it. Apparently with Aqua it costs £28 each way if you book in advance, so could be worth getting a taxi full of people to share the cost - damn scumhampton, we need T? in Pompey again!!

on april 5th we start our week long tour of the country and the last date we play on the 11th is at the horseshoe and with it being the last night of the tour it should be a pretty unique gig.
the band is really based in kent but myself and the other guitarist go to pompey uni so we only have the occasional gig here

Just noticed there’s now a link for the Southampton gig on the ‘Tour’ page, if anyone needs it. Looks like it is huge room that they’re doing it in (In the old building). What ticket numbers have you guys got? Mine are fourhundred something.

Mine are none, off course. Like most of us I don’t have the money and time (work fucking work) to go to all the T? gigs. So, on behalf of the ones not being able to attend, post your review please. hanx!

:o thank you, aunty Sarah!
:) read your post again, Sarah, only imagine it in the voice of a twee old lady, with a woolen shawl, and a rocking chair, muttering away to herself in the corner… See how appropriate it sounds? :D

See that old granny muttering to herself? That’s you that is! :p
