Yes romy and Robby, you can be ashamed together. I think Ze Scorpions are even worse that Toto.

(and off course Misanthropologist agrees with me ;) )

Scooter fans can’t be blamed for anything. :p

Still Loving You is ok, it reminds of those wild parties back in the days when I was young. We used to find out how to open a bra to that song. :o

To avoid shame I tend to listen to the Scorpions covers by FOZZY. Cooler, louder, better english. *g*

I have seen a few videos by an 80’s band called whitesnake on vh1 recently and the singer wears a shouler padded leather trenchcoat and they all have perms, pretty bad but i think a lot of this style of music is equally bad. I suppose they thought they where dead sexy too!

I think I saw that Whitesnake video on “Scuzz” lately - if I recall, that song was a big hit in the late 80’s. The blonde perms, white shoulder padded jackets, tight stone-washed jeans, huge white trainers, pursed-lips while staring longingly into the camera…

It certainly was a unique image :p

…thank fuck for grunge.

bugger… they were bad. They had it all - bland music, crap video’s, 5 minutes of total overexposure, a singer you just wanted to slap - they could have actually paved the way for Toploader.

Those bands could have their own little genre - ‘DIRGE’

Title: Nite club songs

I know this is straying from the topic but this post reminded me of these ghastly songs that always got played when i went out at the weekend, there was one by cher called - “do you believe in life in a life after love” and worse was one that had some funny lyrics, it said something like “every night your a superstar, reach for the sky and hold your head up high” and everyone seemed to love these songs to!
