Concert in THERAPY? in Moscow on 04 April 2004 - MAcroS Yesterday, on 3 April, in known D.K. of Gorbunov took place the concert of group THERAPY?, which can be, perhaps, named the concert of year (this if no one no longer arrives this sense), type as concert Anthrax in the past year. I visited this sabantuy and, I will say 4 to you, THIS WAS SUPER-! In reality, everything was is simply stunningly. Irishmen gave out moshchneyshiy drive, from which was brought not only the hall (it, on the whole, to strongly start not not must it was, it and so it was finished), but also very members of group. And this was very well noticeably. Also it was obvious that the Irishmen simply went out of mind from the fact that the crowd of fans knows their songs thoroughly and mansions it joins in singing. Especially gladdened the physiognomy of vocalist Andy Cairns at that moment, when hundreds of throats scanned “James Joyce is fucking my sister!!!” repeating the words known of song THERAPY. Indy appeared simply obeskurazhennym:) First he for long from this moved away poking by microphone into the hall, even music of stikhla in order to give to all to feel moment, and then prooralo something of the type: “4, chuvaki, it is simple oh… to vayu, that you know this song!”. Thus pancake! :) We still and not similar know! Entire second-half of concert passed under the aegis of the elevated mood of musicians from the fact that they were pleasantly astonished by such an their reputation in Russia and, by itself, different mood in fans. After winning back approximately 16 songs musicians they were removed it was from the scene, but, by itself, hall howled and scanned so that the walls cracked and THERAPY they were forced to return and to win back 5 additional songs. This quantity by itself is the irrefutable proof of the fact that the Irishmen were in the enthusiasm from the method, therefore as usually the command of this sense they win back 2, maximum of 3 songs. On the whole, all those, who did not fall not concert obtains my personal gigantic regret since this was EVENT! Several underground sdelanykh photographs (protection strictly followed the fact so that the people not of fotkal would not be removed on video, but therefore quality, certainly it came out not alas), or several small videotapes it is possible to skachat’ hence. This all which for me was possible to photograph by my modest Pentax’om.

Returning back to life after the 3rd April gig was _very_ difficuuult.

All my friends and I had only ONE emotion - we’ve waited for them for 9 years and we’ve finally got’em!!! (Does anybody here remember that cancelled April 1995 show?!?!)
We’ve become nearly grey-haired since that, but after I’ve seen THIS, “I’m not afraid to die, I’m just scared of goin’ to hell…” :-)))

Thankx, thanx and once more!
This was the BEST present for my upcoming birthday :D

The interview on Radio Ultra was only about 20 minutes long, and that is including the four songs that were played. Andy was the only one interviewed and he spoke about St. Petersburg architecture, the DIY approach to starting a band, the problems of having a question mark in your name and Roman Abramovich’s purchase of Chelsea FC. I understand that the interview was recorded on Saturday before the Moscow show so there are no references to the reception they received in Gorbushka. They had some woman simultaneously translating what Andy was saying but you could still hear him fairly clearly underneath. The translation wasn’t very accurate but it’s still a nice souvenir to have.
