Accurate tabs

Hey. Most the stuff that’s on the web sites is pretty much inaccurate.
It’s not bad, but it’s far from great.

And I just figured — every gig, they play a whole load of songs. So, in theory,
all we have to do is watch what the guys play, and transcribe that.

It’s too much to do from memory, but if someone had a video camera, and went to
three different gigs and pointed the camera at Andy one night, Martin another and
Michael the other, we’d know how a handful of songs are played (well, at least live).

Any takers? :-)

I don’t know many venues (at least in the US) that would ever let you take a video camera into a concert. Is it different in Europe?

I don’t think they’d let you in with a video camera. Photo cameras are only allowed when the lens is beneath a certain zoom range or something. Thats my 2 cents, from Holland.
And some stuff I made out, standing and watching them play. It’s not that hard to remember. Just remember the positions, the rest you can figure out by yourself.

I think, if you ask them and tell why… they might agree with it!!!
But without permission it’s mostly not allowed…

It’s hard to see at the gig itself when you are bouncing around (and it’s easy to forget too).

I’ve just been watching a video of the bizarre festival gig, and even then when you can see the fretboard, it’s not _that_ easy to figure some of the stuff out.

oh, and while i’m here, one question — what is the effect Martin uses for the Wall Of Mouths intro and solo, cos he only plays one note on his guitar to achieve it…

The effect used for Wall of mouths sounds like an arpeggiator- these are usually used with synths but hey, Therapy?- Crazy name, Crazy guys.
