Well, if there is anyway you could pay with a banker’s draft/postal order etc.. I can accept that. I just don’t want to have to be exchanging currency. That’s why I prefer PayPal.

Don’t you accept cash which is being sent in a registered letter?

I suppose I could as long as it was in £. I just didn’t always think it was safe to be sending cash through the post!

@ Fiestaboy

Why can’t you just sign up with Paypal? You can use a debit card on Paypal now, you don’t have to have a credit card. It takes a few days to go active but its easy enough to do.

It also means you can pay instantly and have your item delivered with 2 days of the auction ending. Assuming the seller sends it quickly. No more waiting for cheques to clear!

I wouldn’t recommend sending cash, even recorded. I’ve been arguing with the Royal Mail about them losing my A-Team van (sent registered) for weeks now…

I know what you mean. I once videotaped 50 quid. The graining was dreadful and it came out all blurred and stuff.

For God’s sake, don’t send cash in the mail. I’ve worked in post offices for 6 years and you would not believe the amount of stealing and other scalliwag behaviour that goes on.

Good luck. I won’t be able to watch as unfortunately I’ll be stuck in Nottingham at the gig of the year! :D
