I went to Southhampton so a few things…

ain’t your fault you didn’t get to see Meat Abstract…the bar situation was terrible a good 20 mins just to get a drink is madness and only half the bar was open!
I ‘chatted’ to Micheal after the WH show and he wasn’t in a chatty mood which was a pity, have met all the wildhearts and they have always been polite and nice - have met all of T? (apart from neil) and none of them seem very chatty anyway. oh well.
They played a brilliant show was very impressed, andy was on top form and i have to say I missed Martin but Neil more then made up for it with his drumming - he really is THE man!
Can’t wait till London - gonna ROCK!

cheers

How good was Neil? He has got so much better. Seriously loud and fast and adding different bits into songs. Even a solo at the end!

Meat Abstract sounded particularly good with Neils drumming. I think they fucked up the start of Sister, and the start of Screamager. But no worries, it was a great set. Shame there was no Martin but I don’t think the sound suffered to badly.

The Wildhearts were absolutly brilliant too. They played 4 B-sides, some very old, which was good for me coz I know them all, but I think they lost the crowd slightly at times.

Still awesome all round. My ears are still ringing…

I was there - right down the front for T?, and only a little way back for WH. No black and white socks, but calf length Doc M’s. I was with my friend Claire with big spikey red hair

WhatÂ’s this I hear - is someone impersonating the tartan skirt, and had the cheek to be at the bar during the mighty Wildhearts - I will not hear of such things
