If it kills me x 20!

#

Started by Ronald

Ok, yesterday I put on if it kills me 20 times in a row, and it still was great after the 20th time…the song has everything, darkness, positiveness, happiness, sadness…I’ll try to do it 30 times now!

Glad I am not the only one, I don’t think I have ever liked a song as much as this one, but it ended up in the topspot in the DutchAlternative chart of last year so I guess it is not that strange…

I put it on that many times and then some. It’s fucking brilliant- it just seems to rebound about the soul doesn’t it?! :)

it is pretty fuckin amazing, although i think the non live version is better, (i usually think its the other way round) because of the voice effects.

They certainly do. I think everything they have been playing recently sounds better than it has in a while.

I think Neil has really revitalised the energy in the band. Odd though, never noticed it lacking before.
Something has happened though and i think its down to the boy Cooper.

Good Work Fella

I tried it only up to 7 times, but still liked it the last round. Absolutely agreed - The song has the potential to be a huge hit. but let’s be glad it isn’t. Personally I’m glad, there are no more of those hysteric girlies on the concerts. Y’ know, hysteric girlies like me back in ‘94. ;)

At T? gig on the Shameless tour in Edinburgh this girl I’m acquainted with kept throwing folded-up love letters at Michael. At one point he picked one up, read it and smiled… I wish he’d have read it aloud :D

I don’t really find Paul Kay funny either. I saw a live show of his and I smiled once or twice and that was it. He should stick to John Smith’s ads.

Really? Hooh. I really thought those times would be over. Well, at least it was only one girl, not hundreds of them screaming and biting to be next to their favorite “boyband with guitars”. (Looking back it looked a little bit like it with all those girls having a huge crush. :D ) Did I mention I’m glad those times are over?

Hmmm, I do also tend to scream at a gig, quite loud too as my voice is rather high… But I’m not that girlie to be screaming their names or throwing panties on the stage… Let’s be honest, it’s their minds that are interesting, not their body! So yes, I’m not ashamed to admit it: I scream … I’m a screamer … and I love it, as well as they do, I think!
Most of the time however, there’s not enough air left in my lungs to scream because I’m being squashed by the big guys in front of the stage, having my breath cut off by their huge power to smell ( even “stink hours in the wind”, as they say in Belgium…) or I’m being choked by their long hair going in and out my throat! So I think I deserve to be screaming whenever I get enough air, don’t you? It’s just showing my appreciation, getting this feeling of being stoned everytime I see them performing…
By the way, at every gig I’ve been surrounded by guys, big tough men, screaming like little babies, sometimes even trying to overpower me with their voice… Which has never happened so far, so give it up guys, I’m the one and only Screamwoman!

Title: Only screaming???

I saw only one concert of Therapy?, but it was my best in life (and I’ve seen also Smashing Pumpkins, Jethro Tull, Ska-p, King Crimson, BB King, Cranberries, Vandals, Queens of the stone age, Audioslave…) and I danced and screamed all the time…It was more than GREAT, more than FANTASTIC!!!!
And If it kills me is better in the live version, in my opinion, now that I’ve heard it live the album version seems to me too slow!! :D
Rock on!

Maybe not by a man, do you think you’re also the loudest screamin’ woman? See you on their next gig in Belgium, Competition!? ;)

Don’t misunderstand me. I’m a screamer myself. And being a female being, a higher voice is part of the package. I really referred to those girlies crying out total hysterically with the pure sight of Andy or Michael. Screaming itself is absolutely okay, as long as there’s enough breath for jumping around and singing every note of those fuckin’ great songs on the top of my lungs. :D
