couldn’t even give an opinion, cos as far as I can remember they never even introduced the new songs they played in Cork, so by the time I’d figured out that they were playing something new rather than some obscure album track it was over!

They definately introduced “Save The Sermon” in Cork, but I’m not sure what the other new song was, but I think it was “Panic”.

It doesn’t really make a difference what they were called though, ‘cos I don’t remember jack shit about either of them! I was just jumping around the place like a mad feen.

Panic is absolutely brilliant and I really like This So Called Life as well.

2 Bags did not really convince me and Dead Shark was played last year in Weert I think, but it was just noise… I don’t think this is (or was at the time) a real song.

Shamburger was on the setlist in Utrecht, but they did not play it. I’m not sure if they played it somewhere else actually? So I have my doubts if it’s a real song as well…

So far I liked the 2 Bags the most because of the riff is such a ace! The only thing I liked on This So… was Neil’s drumming (and I’m not kissing anyone’s butt ;;)) Panic!! is too messy to me, that one they can easily forget or alter some things in it.

Dead Shark was played in Weert, but I don’t think it will ever become a song. It was just T? making a lot of noise. Andy introduced it as saying that they would improvise something new during every gig that tour.

I only took Photos, wish I could have recorded it…

Any way “Tropical Breeze” sounded like Heavy Surf-punk-rock…very Melodic almost like “C.C Rider”…

to bring all speculations regarding the song titels to an end I just read through all the diary entries (yes, I got some time kill now :) ). so here we go:

1. make yourself well (rise up)
2. panic
3. save the sermon
4. here be monsters
5. perish the thought
6. long distance
7. polar bear
8. so called life/atomized
9. this ship is sinking
10. plebians
11. walked through the darkness
12. last one to heaven is a loser
13. dead
14. rock you monkeys
15. die like a motherfucker

mike said in one of the diary entries that they’ve recorded 14 songs, so the title of one of the above changed.

plus I like like the idea of including samples once again and using the 2nd snare more often.

man, I’m really excited, bring it on boys!!

So we’ve gone from Stop it you’re killing me, to if it kills me, to die like a motherfucker, to dead. Am guessing there’s going to be a track on the next next album called something along the lines of ‘now I’m just a ghostplease don’t pee on my grave’. Maybe.
