WANKERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That’s fantastic. Metallica are one of my favourite bands, and even if St. Anger wasn’t my cup of tea, I’d still be chuffed to meet them. Even Lars is supposed to be a nice guy these days.

Let’s hope this luck rubs off on me in my entry to win an iPod.

That’s amazing Roxana, congratulations!! Make sure you wear a T? shirt when you meet them though, just to remind them there’s at least one band capable of blowing them away!

T? did a support slot for metallica … i think it was 96 or something! Graham just joined the band and they played donnigton?
And Lars said in an interview, that they picked T?, cause Metallica loves them?

(well i don´t think thats the total truth, but anyway)

I saw some footage from that concert, where they played “loose” …
really funny … i think the song is not the best to pick for their set in front of drunken metallica fans!

Tatty, I know the Donnington ‘95 line up was put together at Metallica’s request and they put T? on right before Metallica. I think Andy described T? as the “Hamsters of Rock” in the program for that day, still have it somewhere. Fyfe was still there then aswell.

Yeah use a T? shirt to remind them!! :D

They probably did, I just meant aswell as 96 and it backs up the idea of Metallica liking T? I know T? were drinking with them the night before Donnington ‘95 and Lars was buying the drinks.

I reckon if everyone who going to see Metallica anytime soon should gets right down the front with a T? shirt on they’ll think “Hang on! Theres a lot of T? fans around! Bugger Slipknot and Lost Prophets! We’ll get T? to do the rest of the tour with us!” Then I’ll wake up and it wont be true, unfortunatley. But maybe some good could come of it! :)

Dunno if they played with Metallica when Graham was in the band. I know they were offered a place on Ozzfest ‘98, then declined and when KoRn pulled out at the last minute they replaced them.

I do know that they supported Metallica at Donington with Fyfe still in the band though. That was when they were really big. I think I even saw some of that footage on MTV.

Edit: I’m probably talking bollocks actually. Ignore this post.

Nah - you are spot on, They played ‘95 with Fife - I have the MTV footage on tape somewhere - they played above White Zombie, Slayer, Slash’s Snakepit, Machine Head, Skid Row… some of those bands were really big at the time as well!

They then stood in for Korn at Ozzfest (Milton Keynes) when the drummer from Korn dropped out to have a baby…

Graham drummed and they were ace!

Was lucky enough to be at both gigs!

Nice one Roxy!
