And MAN - what have I been missing?? How come I haven’t discovered these guys before now? Of course I’ve heard of them for years - just never bothered to check any of their stuff out.

I went to the Manchester gig completely not knowing what to expect - and LOVED every minute of it!

fan-fucking-tastic!

:D

So… I NEED some Therapy? In my collection - but where do I start????

Also - can anyone help me out with obtaining a copy of the Joy Division cover - Isolation. I don’t know if the lads have ever recorded this somewhere I can buy it - or mebbe someone might have a live version perchance?

Managed to catch 4 gigs on this tour and they were brilliant every time. I especially enjoyed the Sheffield gig where Ginger played on stage with them. What a corker.

Anyway - that’s enough waffle from me!

Hi! Welcome to the WoM!

The “Isolation” Cover is on the album “Troublegum” from 1994 … They played most songs of that album, when you saw them …

I think its a good thing to start with! Every album sounds different. Troublegum is really unique!

Right… that’s what I’ll start me collection with then.

Thanks for the help :)

Had the good luck to have a bit of a chat with T? at Manchester and Bristol - what a great bunch of lads.

I’ll not hesitate to go watching them in the future :)

Yeah, I hope you haven’t got red hair - he likes that. And liking JT is nothing to be ashamed about. It’s something we all do and we shouldn’t feel embarrassed. :D

Don´t expect any album to be as good as troublegum or sound the way troublgum sounds … every album sounds good like T? is … no album sounds the same really …

i would get semidetached or “ten years plan” (Best of this is … yeah the lads have been quite a long time in the buisness) …

High Anxiety is a great album as well … Perhaps its the best after troublegum to listen to … Than you should listen to semi detached … and between perhaps babyteeth!

But you could check out the video section and audio section at this site … You probably will find something you like to listen or to take a look at!

Title: roots

you really should invest in pleasuredeath and babyteeth, if not for the dark lyrics, roaring guitars and fyfe’s unbelievable drumming then for the samples at least. its really quite rewarding when you work out where each sample is from…the feeling is almost…sexual.

eerrrmmmm, yeah, anyway they rock!

Hang on! IL is one on my favorite T? albums! :)

I know Timberonian man has been mentioned but another crucial rule has been neglected- don’t tell Hooch that you like the album “Shamless”, buy it on the sly…

Nowt wrong with a bit of JT I say (no, I’m not creeping, hehe) I have extrodinarily eclectic tastes in music meself.

Quite partial to a certain scottish singer… mm yum.

I’d best be off before I did meself into a hole hadn’t I? hehehe…

Dear not_that_kind_of_guy: you couldn’t be more wrong - I live for IL album - without that album I wouldn’t bother to listen to music at all - that’s how much I love that album!

To zoegrice: Warmest welcomes!

Title: !?!?!?

Hey everyone,
I’ve been a fan of Therapy? since I first saw them at Donnington in 94 an they blew me away instantly.
Haven’t been into much of the later stuff but recently heard High Anxiety and once again my arse was well and truly kicked.
It great to see that this band has stood the test of time and still bizarre that they are also STILL underated.(I bet they’d be huge if they were American)
I raise my glass to Therapy? and say a special thanks to Mr Cairns for having a damn good influence on my guitar playing.
Take care all:p

I wasn’t really into Suicide Pact to be honest. Semi Detatched was pretty cool but to me High Anxiety is the bst thing T? have recorded since Infernal Love.
Keep hearing good whispers about the new stuff so really looking foward to that.
Thanks for the welcome!

I agree with tatty’s arguments about which albums to start with. And there’s off course a brilliant dvd.
