I was reading the tivia section on suicidepact.com and theres also a song called Shameless it was to be on a split single with the Black Halos. But its locked away in the Sub Pop vault and theres a instrumental called Valentine’s Day which was recorded during the Shameless sessions Jack Endino thought it was pretty good.I wonder if these tracks will ever be released?

Title: Shameless (merged)

So I finally got my own copy of Shameless. Last time I heard it I hated it so never got a copy, but my mate was buying CDs and wanted to try some electronica out, and knowing I’m a big electronica fan and I often talk about Therapy?, he saw Shameless and bought it. Haha, imagine his surprise. Anyway, he hated it, so gave his copy to me, which I thought was jolly nice of him.
And, somehow, this time around, I really like the album. Sure, it’s not one of their best records, and I really, really think it’s in need of something… that dark, moody edge they often have, and maybe a slower, ballady track, or something more ‘beautiful’ rather than ‘fun’ in there, but I think it’s a really great record now. I think my taste has radically changed in the last year anyway, which may partially to do with it.
But anyway, yeah, stuff like Stalk And Slash and I Am The Money fucking rocks, and Theme From Delorean and Tango Romeo are a bit silly but incredibly fun, and I think the glam feel to the record is quite refreshing.
Hmmm. Discuss. I know we have some strong opinions on the album around here. ;)

It was the same with me. I bought it listened to it a few times and stuck it away. Pulled it out again after HA and now I quite like some of it. I think I had to get a little older to like it :D

Loved Shameless, but not as much as their other stuff (except Nurse, outside of “Perversonality” I don’t like that album). I also don’t agree that “Body Bag Girl” is shit, they have worse songs, in my opinion (like “Alrite” and “Unrequited”).

Nurse is my least favourite, too. I like four or five songs on it, but the other half really does nothing for me at all.
Haha, really loving Tango Romeo now.
The artwork isn’t that great, definitely, and seem very… well, un-Therapy?, I suppose.

OK, I can’t believe what I’m reading at the moment: Unrequited T?’s worst song? It’s my fucking favourite of Troublegum (one of them at least) and Nurse being T?’s worst album is also not doing justice to the truth with songs like Disgracelands, Gone, Nausea, Accelerator and Perversonality on it.

It’s just an opinion, take it with a grain of salt. I personally don’t like “Unrequited” (it’s the only song on Troublegum that I skip) and I’m not a fan of the Nurse album, though I do like 1 or 2 songs on it.

Just remember, opinions are like a$$holes, everybody has one and in general nobody else wants to hear them because they stink.

“Truth”. Hmmm.
Anyway, I didn’t say it was the worst, I said it was my least favourite, which, erm, is the truth…

The organ in it kicks ass in a very impressive way. But the melody itself doesn’t, at least in my ears.

I think Tango Romeo & Stalk & Slash are excellent ‘fun’ numbers, and there are some other great songs on it too - if you don’t take the album too seriously, you can really enjoy it. It’s a great album for silly handbanging and devil hands, if you know what I mean.

Singing along to lines like “No more drugs for this young man” always brings a smile to my face :)

Blimey, didn’t realise there was so much anti-Shameless feeling about - no wonder they didn’t play anything off of it at Nottingham! I love it, meself - just a damn fine, no-messin’, kick-ass rock record. And that needs lovin’ in my book
