No they are not definately snobs! Maybe they don’t have time to answer every fans questions even though mailed repeatedly. They have a life, you should get one too (and hey that is sarcastic joke, get it? :D)

Uh, no they’re not snobs. Did it ever occur to you that being professional musicians having to tour, record, write songs and live in hotel/motel rooms and vans, they might not have the time to write you?

Stop acting like “Stan” from the Eminem song. I can almost picture you - dyed black hair, goatee, black leather jacket, All People Are Shit written on your Telecaster guitar.. :p

When you buy their albums, they owe you the ownership of the copies of the albums you bought.

When you buy a Therapy? gig ticket, they owe you a passionate performance.

That is the extent of their liability towards you.

The guys in Therapy? are nice guys and I know a lot of people on here have spoken to the guys via e-mail and the like, but they are under no obligation to reply to your e-mails. Heaven forfend the guys might be busy trying to make a living.

Hes got a point y’know! Personally I’d say that T? are the coolest and friendliest band I have ever met, they have tonnes of time for their fans. But they are busy guys, especially with the new album and so on. Just give it time and they may get back to you, if not hunt them down post gig; “Don’t look now…” :D:D

What’s also quite possible here, is that you’re using the wrong email address. I’m not sure what T?’s email address in now, but I’m pretty sure they’re not using the Hotmail “church of noise” address anymore.

Maybe what you sent them 5 times does not interest them in the slightest and maybe they don’t want to reply to you.

I always got a reply within 24 hours.

Apparantly apart from You everyone else here is satisfied with the guys’ behaviour. Considering this maybe You should check again CAPS LOCK and the words You’ve chosen for the last five emails.

I emailed them once about a t-shirt I ordered and never got (the company had even cashed the cheque). I got a quick reply and they were very apologetic and passed the email onto the right people (I hadn’t been able to find it anywhere). I got my t-shirt a short time after that. So I’d say they’re very nice people and I want to have their babies (or just meet them and thank them for great music, whichever comes first! :p)

Title: This is my explanation…(merged)

Therapy? seem like cool guys. But i really think that either 3 of them could spare 10 mins a day to answer a lot of emails- in 10 mins u get shitloads done!

im sorry if that seems unfair of me…but, you know, it kind of dissapoints when i have been a fan for YEARS and really dug all their music, they can’t just say ‘hi’ back.

but as one guy stated i guess i am only paying for ownership of their records. Thats true, but the world has to go around on a bit more than that i think.

also andy’s lyrics suprise me a bit- for instance on troublegum and almost every album he has done he is constantly going on about how screwed up he is and depressed and a mess. hmmmm…but at the same time he is touring the world and writing music and playing shows…as a trainee psychiatrist I KNOW that someone who is as depressed as he puts out would not have the energy for that. I am working in a hospital now where people are so depressed they cant even put food to their own mouth. they are clinically depressed. I think andy maybe needs to appreciate more than he does. BUT he very well might be very sad, and just put on a happy face. I dont know him! im just saying that biologically someone who is as depressed as andy makes out, very, very, very rarely would have the energy to do more than cry, or mope around in a house.

I’m just curious, thats all. and i have everyright to my view. i am a big therapy? fan I must emphasis, and, as i have, said they seem like nice fellows.

i don’t think it’s meant as being depressed in a physicial way.
for me it’s more that life-sucks-and-you-can-all-kiss-my-ass-way…
and i think singing about how wonderfull everything is and that we are all a big happy family that’s more the job of those poppy singers…it would be strange hearing that from a band like t?

and also other rock-bands. never heard any singing about flowers and the lovely sunshine.
but maybe i just haven’t heard it yet :)
