Don´t have the money :(

And most bands there have just really shitty new albums out …

I would love to see the Pixies … but its too much money and they don´t headline which means “tiny setlist” :(

*shouts* DEBASER!

Tiny is relative, about 20 songs in 60 minutes. As a headliner you get about 29 in 85 minutes.

***sings*** This song is twice occurred and now it’s time to go away on holiday

Hurrah - Download ‘04 - saw Dillinger Escape Plan, Opeth, Monster Magnet, 36 Crazyfists, Million Dead, Iggy & The Stooges, Sum 41, Linkin Park, Breed 77, Ill Nino, Turbonegro, Soulfly, Damageplan, Machine Head, Slipknot, Korn & the mighty Metallica!

Top weekend - slightly spoiled by bad organisation but the bands were amazing!

Shame there was no room for Therapy?

i went to download, and one of bands that really suprised me was electrix six, they were so good and not really a band i wanted to watch.

my favorites, in order of goodness:

distillers
machine head
electric six
metallica
slayer
soulfly
linkin park

bands i watched, but by god i wish i hadnt:

turbo negro
slipknot
cradle of filth
drowning pool
korn

although i thought the slipknot drummer was awesome playing with metallica despite being as tall as an 11 year old!

all in all it was a good weekend.

despite the organisation at the gate, the problems finding a place to camp and the car getting broke into we had a lot of fun and drank one hell of a lot of beer.

and yes, the distillers really were the best band of the weekend.

How long did you have to wait at the gate? - we had 4 1/2 hours wait on friday but I heard we got away lightly as some people had to wait around 8 hrs

Turbonegro were ace!

Had a fucking great time at the Alice Cooper concert last Sunday in Rastatt Germany. Though the hall itself sucks in an impressing way. Seemed to be the first rock concert at this venue ever. I hope it will also be the last. Halls like this should be only for people like Nana Mouskouri or Udo Juergens.

Unless you’ve seen both live you wouldn’t be able to provide such a judgment. :p
