Telecaster

Hi,

Is there someone who knows the Fender Tele-sonic guitar ?

I really interested about it, but here it’s difficult to find it one and try it.
Specialized magazins tell that it is a good compromise between a telecaster and a gibson, what does it mean?

Is there somebody who knows this frying pan ?

We use one.to look at they are reallllll pretty.to play…I’d say they are definitely of the the better Fender models.Nice warm tones, responds fairly well to most distortion units, but I think they are generally used for jazz or stuff.Their neck is fairly thin, so easy to play. And I think they retail around £900 + brand new…
Heres a pic of use using ours just 3 nites ago…

Thanks for the photo. It’s very cool.
Do you record some demo or songs ?
Could you spend me ones?
Thank you for your comments, I’ve thought tele-sonic is a good guitar model. I put my trust in Fender Telecaster.

we haven’t recorded any songs with the sonic…BUT…we are negotiating when we are going in the studio, and we will definitley be using it.We have an E.P out at the moment, but it’s a year old, and not very loud…but you can download the best track from http://www.wethreekeys.co.uk. If we do any more demo stuff, I will definitely send you some stuff. The sonic is a great guitar, I think you’ll like it if you already use a tele. For the e.p we used a tele, and a jaguar. The sonic’s sound is far superior.think Aereogramme.Have you considered an SG?This is by far my favourite guitar. It’s versitility is unmatched!

i have really not got to try any authentic gibson models, except some LP Epiphone. Here in France, folks prefere Fender or Ibanez, very often. Of course, some people like to play with gibson, i knew a punk local band who’s played with SG Gibson, they were called ‘The Roll Mobb’. But ten years ago, i played with a telecaster japan serie…good memories.

Tele-Sonic info:

Part of the American Special series. Its made of mahogany and has 11 sound chambers in the body. The neck is a shorter scale, and the guitar is loaded with twin DeArmond 2K single-coil pickups and a “Tech-Tonic” bridge. Which is an odd bridge, but damn cool (especially if you use bullet ended strings ;). It also has a cool as fuck black headstock.

£1100 for Crimson Red Transparent or Butterscotch Blonde, but £1400 for Brown Sunburst.

Im the guy wielding it in the photo by the way. Its the best guitar Ive ever played, dont listen to chris’ SG tomfoolery ;)
