it’s looking like ‘see you dead’ is going to be the lead-off single.

Thats an interesting line-up, as some of those look familier

‘Throwing Punches’ was featured on the Underworld soundtrack under Page Hamiltons name rather than Helmet.

‘See you Dead’
‘Enemies’
‘Everybody Loves You’ were part of the Ghandhi 6 track demo…

I also downloaded a Helmet track called ‘Smart’ about a month ago. The quality wasnt great, just wondering if maybe its a demo version or something…

I loved the Ghandhi demo, the track ‘money shot’ was my pick of the bunch. I ain’t to keen on the other two tracks metioned though. I can picture this album being a very different Helmet kinda more like Rival Schools…hmm i Don’t know.

Whatever happened to Orange 9mm also, I take it they split??

I just recently got into these guys. I got DRIVER NOT INCLUDED, ULTRAMAN VS. GODZILLA, PRETEND I’M HUMAN, & TRAGIC. Thier alot better than I thought they would be. And yeah, they called it quits after PRETEND I’M HUMAN. Chaka Malick is in a new band called BURN, with Alan Cage, ex-drummer for Quicksand.
And thanks, Allroy, for popsting the track-list, I did’nt know it had been released yet.

got a promo of the full album today, i ain’t impressed. It’s ok but sh@t for Helmet. It seems to have this influence of Nu-metal in there which i can’t believe. plus parts sound abit pop.

damn you nu-metal!

Got this a few weeks back as mp3s and it’s a lot more melodic than I expected, but still miles ahead of most rock these days.

SIZE MATTERS and the tour got pushed back to October, Page broke his collar-bone mountain-biking. Album out October 5th.

First this, now no new Therapy? here in the U.S. So much for my “best-September-ever” prediction.

Crap, did I jinx it?!

There’s an (yet unconfirmed) announcement for Helmet playing the Forum in Bielefeld on 11 December. So they might be in Europe around then.

Title: New helmet album (merged)

Anyone like Helmet, has anyone heard there new album. Never really listened to them before, but this album is pretty quality. Anyone likes a good riff esque album, they should download crashing expensive cars.
Sod it, get the whole album, like frank drebin said after swimming in raw sewage, “I LOVE IT”

I like it - It’s in a similar style to Aftertaste. Some great riffs!

I still have to get used to the new Helmet. At the moment I think Size Matters is not as good as Betty or Aftertaste (my favourite). Time will tell.

They’ve announced more UK Dates:

December
01 London, Mean Fiddler
02 Manchester, Academy 2
03 Glasgow, The Garage
04 Birmingham, Academy

Only problem is the London date is the same as the Therapy? gig and the two venues are right next to each other  This sucks donkey balls.

And they should play “Unbeliever” and have Page Hamilton come up and do the guitar solo.
