More details, please.

That must have been painful I’d guess… I don’t know if he survived, but the black bag did not look good…
It happened during the show from Korn, I admit they sucked but still… no need to do something like that :D

They were excellent and there is only 2 of them! Bought the E.P at the gig which is also really good. Yet to buy the album though which was out a couple of months ago.

Ouch. But if it had been because of Korn it would definitely have looked like a horde of lemmings. :)

he only tried to get from the balcony down the ground floor, but he wasn’t allowed by the security and so he tried to climb down the curtain, but that couldn’t hold his weight…
well and he fell down 16 m…ouch!…but he just got a few bruises and a sore knee!
well that’s what i call a try of a crowd surf

VISIONS reports that he’s dead and police are examining the circumstances, whether it was an accident or maybe even suicide. :(

Korn is pretty poor live, but I wouldn’t go quite THAT far.

Hurricane Festival (only Friday)
Gluecifer opened the festival and rocked as usual.
Life Of Agony were ok, Keith Caputo was way too stoned to give a better impression.
Pixies were awesome, of course.
Placebo were boring with their predictable set of ‘greatest hits’.
Bowie was also excellent, way better than last year in Cologne. The setlist was beautiful, well balance with old and newer songs, including Station To Station, Modern Love, Battle For Britain, New Killer Star, The Who Sold The World, Ziggy Stardust, Life On Mars.
He also played Cactus by the Pixies, whereas Placebo fortunately didn’t play Where Is My Mind.

I’ve been to Parkpop in Den Haag last Sunady. The weather was great, the drinks cool but I can’t remember much of the music. I sometimes heard three bands on three different stages at the same time. It was o.k.

So, Hooch, don’t miss them next Tuesday in Leeds. No excuses accepted. Take your time (they’re playing for about two hours) and enjoy them.
This is no advice, this is a command :)

The Last hour or so was brilliant but before I was only thinking about how cold it was and not how they were. The Bass-jam by Rob was by far the highlight up until they played Wherever I May Roam.
Saw a fair bit of T?-shirts yesterday wich is a very good sign.

Korn actually surprised me yesterday and made me look forward to their Best Of-CD that comes out later this year since I have refused to buy any of their CD’s up until now because there are so many.
Monster Magnet and The Darkness fulfilled my expectations with flying colours although the Darkness’s gig was obviously a routine-gig.

I don’t know if I’m right on this one, but I really think that I saw Michael McKeegan half an hour before the Metallica gig at Werchter. Maybe it was a look-a-like, maybe it was him, but I’m too shy to just walk up to the man and ask…
Werchter was quite ok this year, highlights: Admiral Freebee, Monster Magnet, Metallica, Danko Jones, Sioen

I’m glad you enjoyed it.
They’ll be back in Europe in October/November, but not in the UK. :p
By the way, did I mention what a superb live band the Pixies are?
Still got a sore throat from singing along to their catchy tunes yesterday in Amsterdam.

The first one was a local coverband which was pretty cool as they played nice covers of Nowhere and Misery :)
The second was a Nirvana tribute, they sucked big time but I felt so sorry for them I bought their demo anyway (it seems they have a few songs of their own) for 2 euro :D
And the people who went to see T? in Holland during the last tour will maybe remember Tacker, just got their first album out and they kicked ass
