Lance’s 6th

Are there any cycling fans amongst you? If so, what do you think of Lance Armstrong winning his 6th Tour de France?

I think it’s great and I have great respect for him, but he’ll never be a great champion like Eddy Merckx or Bernard Hinault.

I think he’s an amazing athlete, although I admit to not knowing that much about cycling. Wish my calves looked a bit more like his though.

I got to disagree with you, 3ddo.
Lance is equal if not better than EM or BH.
I hope he goes for a seventh.

He’s not better than EM in my opinion, Armstrong only focuses on the Tour while EM was top the entire season.

I don’t like cycling much but I really enjoied watching the last race in Paris (my boyfriend made me watch, he promised something good afterwards :-))

I really think Tom Boonen is a great racer. Who agrees with me? And the fact that he’s from the town next to mine helps a bit in liking in him to ;)

Well it takes guts to show up in such a tight outfit with only half the content of your lunchbag to show.
Well, I would give my right testicle to £@#% Sheryl Crow.
I bet that was his opening line in the first place.

Am I sadistic if I only watch it to see if they fall over? Oh and I can think of TWO things at once, sex AND food. Its difficult at first… But after a while I could do it easily!

I always think about sex and food when I’m cycling. That’s quite normal. It makes you go faster.

@ marja: I was surprised that TB won the sprint on the Champs Elysees. He’s indeed a great sprinter. I hope for Belgian that he becomes the next Johan M. But, Boonen wouldn’t have been so succesful in the Tour without good ‘old’ Servais Knaven, would he?

@3ddo: offcourse, Boonen said so himself that he needed Knaven in the tour to help him win. But the problem is that it’s not knaven who won, and people don’t remember the one that gave the assist. Just the person who won. It’s the same with soccer. Sending in a good cross is useally the begining of a nice goal, but nobody remembers who gave the cross.

Oh my god, I start to sound like my father who’s obssed with sports. I will go and do my make-up now :)

Actually, that’s easier than you think. And more dull. :(
