Google your name

Have you tried searching for ‘yourself’ on the internet? Look for your doppelganger

I only seem to have one namesake - a Canadian (and I thought my name is typical German) and he seems to be quite an illustrious figure:
He’s 54, former construction worker and squatter who overcame his homelessness and is now an ‘active advocate for affordable housing’.
He’s also been interviewed when buying tickets for the Rolling Stones SARS charity show last year, saying:”I’ve never liked them, but it’s a big thing and there’s a lady I know who said, `Oh, Mick Jagger,’ so I bought two tickets.’”

Hmm, could be me. :)
It is me, for I have a picture to prove it (from the Canadian allroy, of course, not from me).

Anyone else found out interesting partners in name?

(Before changing the message boards’ software in August 2007 this discussion had a file attachment, which may return in the future)

In fact google found 8,990 sites. There is a photographer, a writer of schoolbooks, an Air Force general a lot of Austrians it seems, even a painter… AH, and some country lady! Why did you made me look for it? :(

You get less results when you look for an exact match, so use quotationmarks like
“firstname lastname”. It’s a great help reducing the number of hits (in my case down to 22, in yours only 2, I think :D ).

A lad who plays for Tazmania University Cricket Club and goes by the nickname of “Wozza” is my namesake. His favourite band are Sum 41, and his favourite song is “Champion by Greenspoon” - who I’ve never heard of.

I wonder if his life is more interesting than mine?

You’ve hidden your praise very well, I have to confess. But you should know that I only call people annoying, when I like those people. The annoying annoying people I simply ignore. ;)

He’s only 15. So I doubt it.
It’s also fun trying to find out the names of wombles by their description of their unknown alter ego.

I wouldn’t be so sure about that. His life is definitely more interesting than yours, if this is what you do for fun :p

The best thing about my lastname is it’s meaning in English, as it pretty much says it all:

For she’s a jolie good fellow. :D

I hope you’re not. I don’t like her as an actress (Tomb Raider, paah, what a waste of celluloid).
Couldn’t you be Emma Thompson, Joely Richardson or Kate Beckinsale (but not in Titanic) or even Katherine Hepburn?

Of course. but I don’t think I can fill the shoes of my big role model, Emma Thompson. (She really is) But I’ll do my best.
