As much as insects love me, so much I hate them. A wasp bit me 2 weeks ago, and I can tell you that ists not very nice when you are allergic to them…and all those damn flies…I want it to be winter again!

Thank God, I’m not allergic to wasps. But to bees. Extremely. Since one got me when I was a child and I nearly choked then, I tend to panic a little every time I see one of those darn little insects. Of course every friend every family member has to do nothing better than to wave and try to smash that very bee to have her angry enough, so the little monster can jump on me.

awww they’re just showing how much they love you!

But really I’m glad I’m not allergic to anything (that I know about anyway)

They’re showing it by trying to kill people? In this case I prefer to be ignored by insects. I wouldn’t greet them either. *g*

Maybe it’s perverse, but hey, that’s how wasps are (e.g. Michael Hutchence :o ).

I’ve never been stung by a wasp, and I’m not allergic to them as far as I know. I panic anyway when one goes anywhere near me.

If you hate wasp, don’t come over to my neighbouhood. There is a bit of a plague of wasps here. It’s not possible anymore to eat outside because you will get attacked by three wasps at the same time. yesterday I tried to find there nesting place, but i couldn’t find it…:(

Title: I found a nest…

Our garage is in a really bad mess, filled things just thrown in from th edoor (I’m talking lawnmowers, here, not old footballs), a few years ago I had to get something out of it, so I was there spending about five minutes just literally clambering over all this crap, and I’m right in the middle of it all, balanced about four feet off the ground on top of a stack of old furniture. I look up and notice something weird hanging from the ceiling right above my head. ‘What the fuck is that?’ I’m thinking to myself. Then a wasp comes out of it. And another wasp flies in… Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKETYFUCK. Amazingly it took considerably less than five minutes to scramble back out again…

Do wasps know you’re talking about them that way? Maybe they don’t want to be called pervert?

I don’t mind wasps so much. They don’t sting if you don’t harras them. Bees and bunblebees are even friendlier; they don’t harm a soul.
The worst are hornets and gnats. You feel them stinging you when it’s too late. And those are the bastards I’m allergic to. If I don’t get out the venom asap and treat the wound with a medical ointment I got from my family doctor, I’ll have the same problems as Ronald.
I like spiders and beetles. Butterflies are o.k. as well.

They can be cool though. I often wonder why people are afraid of them and hate them so much. Without insects this planet would be a foul, rotting pile of flesh and dung. We owe ‘them little buggers’ more than we deserve.
