What songs do you think T? should cover?

#

I was wondering what you think T? should cover and what sogs they could do an awesome cover of?
I heard their police cover of Invisible Sun and I think it’s the 2nd best song they’ve covered to date (that I’ve heard anyway) next to Joy Division’s Isolation in which they improved by 1000%.
Here’s a list of songs I think they’d do a great job with if they even like or heard of some of these bands.

Delivery by Compulsion
Don’t Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult
Writhe by Kyuss
2112 by Rush
Mandatory Suicide by Slayer
Jesus Christ Pose by Soundgarden
Piankiller by Judas Priest (they did a fuckin’ great job with Breaking The Law)
Ubberflussig by WIZO
Shewolfe by Megadeth
Her Black Wings by Danzig

that’s all i can think of at this point.

Wait a minute. ‘Isolation’ is a much heavier version than the Original but doesn’t have the claustrophobic black edged sinister feeling of the original. Both are very good.

Hit Me Baby One More Time by Britney Spears’ song writer. Nah, really they should write their own songs (unlike britney).

Pukkelpop is a belgian festival. I have it on tape, but please remember it’s only an intro of isolation, not the full song. Mail me if you want it.

They should cover the songs that they want to. Remember: they are the band, you are the consumer.

I thought ‘Don’t Fear The Reaper’ is already covered by HIM, right? Has anyone heard the Therapy? version of Denim Demon, orginally from Turbonegro? They played it at the Camden gig, it’s a great song. I think the best cover is Breaking The Law, btw, that one rocks! And the rock version of Diane, which they only perform live, is very good too. This one is only at the Forestglade2k gig cd. So far, it’s the only version of the rocking Diane I found.
I think Hallowed Be Thy Name is a great song, but it’s not a song for Therapy?, I guess. But you never know, Therapy? can even make The Vengaboys sound cool!

I’m not sure, but I believe that Forestglade2K is not an ‘official’ bootleg. It was broadcasted on the radio, and someone just recorded it and converted in into mp3. I used Napster for Forestglade2k, and also for Bizarre2000. Depending on you connection, you can download Bizarre2000 as one file (50 MB or so) and cut it into smaller pieces with an mp3 editing program. I used Audiovibes for it. They also played the rock version of Diane on Forestglade2K, which is really hard to find.
Btw, I only use Napster for unofficial, hard to find stuff. I don’t download any official albums, and I don’t share this. I only share the live stuff like some bootlegs, and also some acoustic songs, because these are very hard to find.

hmm, I think they should cover a Silverchair song. It’d probably be really sucky and everyone would hate it, but I’d like it. They should do it personally for me. Yep, I think that’ll happen.

‘Don’t Fear The Reaper’ was covered by hundred bands -so what?
Good idea too. It’s melodic and heavy.
what about ‘Come As You Are’ by Niravana. Wired probably…
