Just heard the new songs, and they are BAAAAD-AAASSS!!! To me, they come across as the spawn of NURSE & HIGH ANXIETY, and Neill Cooper’s drumming is like the second coming of Fyfe.
Still can’t make out the cover, though.
What’s the U.S. release date for this puppy?

It’s in real audio format of course they’ll sound rough. Nothing ruins cymbals, and any mixing in general like audio compression.
That’s all I wanted to hear. Why can’t everyone pull together and extinguish this ancient evil called realplayer? Why?

Well, I e-mailed P3 rock, and got them to play Rise Up! The friendly chap in the studio also said some positive things about the new album, smth along the lines of that “it should not pass un-noticed, but sadly enough it likely will”.
You can listen to it at http://www.sr.se/p3/rock/
In the upper right corner you’ll find “lyssna på senaste programmet” and there you choose “del 1”. Rise Up is the second song played.
Take care u!

Album just arrived, am about half way through my first listen, it’s soooooooooooooooo good :D :D :D Nothing like HA, apart from maybe the chorus of So Called Life. This is what Shameless should have sounded like, it feels like a follow-up to SPYF.
And no, I still can’t figure out what the cover art is ;)

Just can´t wait ´til september 24th (it´s in stories here in Finland then) so hopefully a nice postman brings me an copy of N.A.N.E during next week…;)

[i] I dunno what I was expecting from the album, but while these tracks aren’t bad (and I’m also willing to allow for the shitness of Realplayer sound), I think if the other 10 were of this standard I’d be a bit disappointed with the album.
This is an opinion after one listen, mind! Still really looking forward to the album!
That’s pretty much what I think, only I’ve listened to the tracks several times.
‘This ship is sinkng’ is not a good song in my opinion. I enjoy the other two, though there are T? songs I enjoy a lot more, but ‘This ship…’, well, no I don’t like it at all.
I can’t wait till the album comes out but I still hope for the real great tracks to come…

That’s what I think/hope. I just heard the 3 new tracks and I’m a bit undecided whether I like them or not. Maybe they need to grow on me, maybe they’ll make more “sense” in the album context.

According to Andy’s stories (which I’ve just finished typing up and will be on the site asap) his friend from Belfast used to say it, it means ‘stop being an idiot’ :)

Well I like what I’ve heard, and I’ve listen to the songs to death round my house and other peoples. And what I love so far about the songs in particular is that there’s always certain lines that linger in my head, and its totally different and better in my opinion to what else is out there at the moment - which is 100% Therapy? to me. :)

aye, i think they said it in the army rtoo or something when people were out of line.
me da said that when they were in the pub, when he used to drink, if a guy was a bit slow to buy a round, theyd say “rise up, your country needs you” :)
but then again, the pairing of alcohol and therapy? is absurd! :P

Therapy? got back to their early days, no doubt…
this record will be harder, havier & darker…it sounds a lot like Babyteeth or Pleasure death days…
much more noisy and insane…also a little paranoid in the beats…rise up reminds me dancin’ with manson in the beginning…Andy performed great vocals on those songs guys! the bass sound is amazing…it reminds me sorta innocent X…new fans could get shocked by that..Neil seems to be Fyfe Ewing…great work…I’m sure this album will get a lot of Therapy? fan surprised!
I ripped the 3 songs as mp3s…if some of you is interested into those, just let me know…add me to your msn contacts: [email]superfabietto@hotmail.com[/email

Now; just waiting for the upcomig tour and to hear those three abowe mentioned songs live…and the others too…;)
