movie: the village

Started by marja (sinner)

has anyone seen it? I liked it a lot. The story has a noce moral. But in the commercials for it, it’s a bit potraied in a wrong way. It looks like it’s really scarry, but it is not. Apart from the two jumping in your chair moments.

Go see it, but don’t expect a scarry movie, just a good story

I saw it the other day. It was alright, as you said - not at all scary like the trailers implied. I thought the end was a bit obvious, though :(

that’s true, it was obvious, but the story was still great.

Maybe the fact that joaquin phoenix is in it makes me like it a bit more than the credit it actually deserves :)

oh hooch, I do wish to say something about that Vip to RIP thing. I do hope you know what VIP stands for?

Making bad jokes about our beloved community leader means you’re not allowed to dream neither of Mr. Dulli nor Mr. Phoenix for at least a week.
Your boyfriend will be glad you have more time for him. :p

Women…

But alright, keep dreaming. Your friend needs his sleep, I suppose.

well there are other things than just having sex or kissing that are fun, but you’re a man and you like soccer, so you would never understand :p

Oh well, I’ll admit, I never even had a dream about those people. The only thing I dream about is nothing getting to something important on time because the road has changed or the time is going faster than usual. Never a hot and steamy dream :(

I thought your friend must be tired of cleaning the house, doing the laundry, cooking, washing up and all that stuff. :p

Well, no word about sex in my profile.

And you might be doing the household in your spare time, but as a hard working woman (you show that right now) you only have a very limited amount of leasure time.
So no accusations of a bad memory, just of drawing meandering conclusions.
But at least I can read…:p

I can too, so at least one of your two remarks is in it. Typical male, selective blindness :p

I guess you’re also selective deaf, no?

By the way, you started this whole sex thing (gosh, how that sounds, I’m getting myself into big trouble).
Women and memory…an eternal battle that women won’t remember to have lost. :p

I doubt that I will. I liked The Sixth Sense, but Shyamalan now seems to be only doing mystery stories. I think it’s boring.
But I’m a cineastic tradionalist anyway. I don’t like these modern high-tech movies very much (with a few exceptions). It must have something to do with my age. :)

Yeah really like it too. Good story. But agree on how it was advertised. It made it look like something along the lines of the Ring or something.

Still go see it though. Only thing, just watch it don’t rey to figure anything out
