Dead Laughing boot on eBay

#

Started by Nausea

Just wanted to let you know that the best (in my opinion anyway) bootleg is up on eBay right now.

If people are willing to pay $50-$60 for Good Fuckin’ Night, which is considered not to be a very good bootleg (crappy leaf-thin badly designed cover, consists of two cut-up incomplete radio shows complete with cue downs between the songs, very short only 10 tracks etc) then Dead Laughing shold be worth like.. $500 or something. Yeah right.

E-bay is not 100% save, I’ve lost about $200 to but about 150 cd’s of a Russian guy, it was also my own faulth, the guy had a 0 behind him and came from Russia. I’ve sold over 80 items on e-bay and bought about 10 items… Nothing went wrong so far… Send high amounts of money in regestrated mail and just buy a bit more if the items is worth a lot for insurance…
Good Luck, Iris

I think Isolation is one of the best bootlegs, better than Dead Laughing anyway. Maybe it’s just me, but Fyfe was incredibly hot that night. The Opal Mantra on Isolation is the best version I ever heard, especially the drums are amazing. Dead Laughing is very good, but $500? I don’t think so…

No, of course it’s not worth $500. Just as GFN isn’t worth $60. But hey, there’s always someone willing to pay that much money for a CD they really would want to have, and that’s their business really. I agree that Isolation is a very very good bootleg.. FYFE RULES.

BUT - Good Fuckin Night has the 94 John Peel session with; Brainsaw, Trigger Inside, Isolation and Knives(different lyrics)and they’re all excellent versions and really heavy. I’d buy it for that, plus the Glasgow gig is pretty cool and heavy too.
