What a coincidence, my nickname is Innocent_X on Napster. I have loads of live stuff:

Dead laughing
No love lost
Fistful of power
Isolation (the bootleg, not the single)
Bizarre ‘98
Bizarre 2000
Forestglade2k
Pinkpop ‘96 (4 songs)
Brixton ‘94 (4 songs)
Amsterdam ‘98 (7 songs)
Dublin ‘97 (6 songs)
Astoria (5 songs, I still haven’t got the change to download the complete bootleg)
Some other live songs

If you have Wrapster or some other file sharing program, you can also download two videos: Church of noise and Lonely, cryin’ only. The only thing is, I have cable, and it isn’t a really fast connection (max. upload speed 15 k/s). One option would be to upload all this stuff to an FTP, but I haven’t figured out yet how to do that.
Oh, you should look for someone named Zinderfine on napster, he has practically the same live stuff as I have. He also shares all official albums, which I don’t do of course. His connection is way faster than mine, btw. I also have some rare remixes like the jonestown mind remix, and an Innocent X remix. Anyway, you can all try to download what you want, but you have to be patient, because there are many people who want to download those bootlegs and live shows from me!
I’m still looking for other bootlegs, like Good Fuckin’ Night, so it would be nice if one of you has it and is willing to share it!

Wouldn’t it be better if make a central place to store MP3 stuff?
I mean a simple (I)drive account? Or Rene could offer some space?
And then also get the quality good. I think a lot of mp3 files on the internet are very, very crappy. (128 or even 112 with a lot of ‘bubbles’). Anyone?

128 is good quality, just cd quality. It’s the standard for most mp3’s, plus it saves you some discspace. It becomes worse from 96 and lower, this is indeed shitty quality. I added ‘poor quality’ between brackets to a live song, so you can see which songs are of poor quality.

128 may sound ‘great’ on your computer but mp3s mostly fail when you listen to them on a nasty heavy stereo set. I always hear irritating high-hat sounds and and only the midtones seem to be good. The Bass is just one flunk noise. (Flinke brij). It may save space but you do it do it right, and use a GOOD mp3 converter.

You can put an emphasis on any sound you like with Winamp. I always have an emphasis on the bass, since the sound is heavier if you do that, it just gives more power to a song. Just take a look at the equaliser in Winamp (the middle part), and then play a little with the thingy on the left of the equaliser, but do not set it too high. You can also try to change some of the middle settings, I also did that, and most of the music I convert still sounds great on my stereo.

Well, I have a bit of a sharp hearing, I guess. I hear too many things in music, so that must be my problem. Haha.
Downloading with a 56K6 is such a pain…Aarghhh, it makes me grazy.
It’s a real pain in the butt. Just ask someone to copy it on a CDr and send it to him/her that’s probably even cheaper than wasting so money to the telephone company (KPN? -ugh!) and the quality is the best you can get.
Why should start a Bootleg copy center or something.

The maximum UPLOAD speed is 15 k/s, so that’s the max. speed if you’re downloading from me. I can get way better than that, depending on the other person’s connection. I have reached over 300 k/s a couple of times, but the average T1/T3 speed is somewhere around 50 k/s.
Yeah, I do remember someone named monkeyspunky or something, but was it me downloading from you or the other way around? I’ve been talking to a lot of T? fans lately…

Hey Michael, thanks for the files (38chg). Does anyone have MP3 files of Screamager and/or Trigger Inside at Brixton, or even the whole gig? Most people only seem to have Accelerator and Unbeliever.

Actually a T1 line is 1.4mbps and a T3 line is somewhere around 44mbps. Of course, the lines are also shared by a bunch of people who have 10 base T ethernet cards, so for the most part, you’re limited to 10mbps at the max.

There are many Screamager files on Napster, I think I have five or more. I saw Brixton on Tv (ahh, what memories…). I think Andy yells something during the starting riffs, and at the end he repeats ‘thank you very much’. I would know if I hear it, that this would be Brixton.
