For me it stands in one line with
“Gone”, “Bowels Of Love” and “The Boy´s Asleep”.

It reminds me of “If You Were Here” by Kent. It has the same brooding start and bassline.

It would sit quite nicely on ‘Infernal Love’.

Am I the only one who thinks it´s the weakest song on the album? Too much pop for me…

Well, If I had to (and I mean _really_ HAD to) put the tracks in order of preference I think Long Distance would probably come last for me, but it’s not a weak track by any means.

I played it this morning on my way to school. Believe me, if you heared it at 6 o’clock in the morning after a rainy night, you will know why this is a killer track.

I think T? managed to bring up songs that totally deliver a certain mood like Long Distance, Polar Bear and This Ship Is Sinking.

I love how this song starts, but I gotta say the chorus doent really fit in with the rest of it for me.

The first line though is Andy at his mournful best!

Its keeping me sane with 9 o’clock starts, that turn out to be in different rooms and buildings that we weren’t told about, and the fact I’m ill with an evil cough doesn’t help either, oh and I’m working until 3am tonight. Oh how I’m loving this week! At least I’ve just gotten a pay rise (thank you minimum wage increases!)
