I went to see Eagle-Eye Cherry last Friday, which was very enjoyable!

Saw him ages ago, was an excelent gig, Preacher Boy supported, dame cool.

Last big gig I was at was Oxygen 10/11 Jul, but last gig was Shorty & The Fat Bastards, TempleBar Music Centre. Tis a mates band, think I cracked a rib at it. Haven’t been able to sit up from lying down with out screaming like a wosse.

I went to see THE STILLS yesterday. Wonderful location (Atomic Cafè Munich), good atmosphere and the band itself was also okay. As I hadn’t had any expectations I was kinda surprised they rocked that much. I had only known one song which was the only ballad during the concert.

The support CAMPUS was also worth seeing.

Superpunk in Duisburg. They’re the best German norther soul / punk band I know. You can dance your ass off to their music.
Next up is Jimmy Eat World in Cologne tonight.

I know it’s not a gig and I know it’s very off-topic. I just felt a strong urge to scream it out loud.

They had a stall there with High Anxiety too so i got to replace my stolen copy :) Cost me £7, which is half the price it is in Virgin when i last looked.

Next gig is Coolio at Hull Uni/Asylum on Friday. £5 to see Gangsta’s Paradise live is a bargain!

Giant Sand are still the best indie-country-blues-Americana-desert rock-outfit around.
Calexico wouldn’t exist without them.

Incredible show! Greatest show I’ve ever been to by anyone! So much of that credit is owed to the crowd, everyone was so pumped and so loud, and the band fed off of that! Incredible time

In my humble opinion Ugly is their best album, although River Runs Red still is a classic

yeh - i think the same
i only liked “herion dreams” off of “soul searching sun” i didn’t think that that album was as good as their others it’s really soft and the lyrics arnt as powerful like “mushy me mushy me .. etc” was a bit dissapointed wen i put that one on for the first time. just hope that their new one out in next year is more like their earlier stuff otherwise i will not be a very happy bunny!!!
