There are also bits of interviews with Andy and the author of the song, so if you can stand to listen to danish translations here is the link:

Do they also play other versions than T?’s?

It’s a geat idea to dedicate a whole hour programme to such a fine song.

As we speak, YES.

But the show is mostly about the producer and his friends’ love for the song and how it defined and shaped their summer of 1995 - apparently all they did was listen to Infernal Love and Diane in particular because they could identify with the song etc.

Not as far as I know, but I rarely listen to that particular channel, it was a total coincidence that I tuned in. Maybe I should ;)

I love the versions from Coffin Break (from their 1990 album Rupture) and German band Strangemen who also were part of Grant Hart’s tour band when he released his Intolerance album (from their Duck And Cover EP from 1988).

Oh, and cheers for the info.

I don’t think so, but I was om the phone for 5 minutes towards the end of the show so I might have missed it. But I also think the show was a bit old, maybe a rerun (it was kind of a documentary) as they spoke as if Martin was still in the band.

I’ll contact the radiostation to find out if they’re putting it in their online-archive and to learn more about the guy who produced it. It was actually a very good show - especially for me as I understood the narration between the clips of interviews.
